Hi all, after 3 weeks of doing red/green ive decided that i may do a week of ee but a bit scared as when i joined last summer ( and gave up after 4 weeks ) i did ee and gained weight.
Would anybody have a quick look at this soup recipe and let me know if it would be free on ee please???

stock made with chicken bovril
carrots
swede
onions
red lentils
smoked gammon
i was going to add smash dumplings at the end of cooking??

would this be ok?

also if i snack to i have to include superfree with the snack eg, a mullerlight plus berries or could i just have the yog??

im half a pound away from getting into the 12 stones and getting my half stone award and really want to do it by next tues wi, so i dont want to spoil my chances by mucking up my week.

any replies would be great thanx x

The soup looks fine for EE but rather than having Smash dumplings (I don't think Smash is free anymore) just cut potatoes up and add to the soup. It would be better if you added even more veg to your soup, how about adding turnip, parsnip (free not superfree). I usually add some mushrooms towards the end of cooking time as well.

You can have any free or superfree food as snacks, you don't have to have both, although it would probably be better if you did.

smash is free on green, so surely should also be on EE?

Apparently the smash that is free is no longer available on the shelf - only the new, improved full cream milk recipe which is not syn free

Soup looks great, but I would probably try to stick as much veg in there as possible. Or make sire you put loads of carrot on there!
As far as I know, smash is free on EE. The Smash pizza is is free, so I would guess that your dumplings would be if you make it up with water.

Your snacks don't have to have superfree. Obviously, it's better to snack on superfree foods but, no, you don't have to. Your yoghurt would be fine as a snack by itself. I snack on fruit as much as poss, but often like crab sticks, and I don't usually eat them with superfree! Good luck... I love EE!
