Thanks green eyed monster xx

In reply to gem from a previous thread...

I tried Cambridge for a few weeks and much preferred the support ans coming to your home..i loved the bars and it was nice to have a soup so.i could 'take part' at meal times. The bars were soooo yum but i felt it did nothing for my sugar addiction. With lipotrim its a toyal palette cleanse

Glad your enjoying my previous posts!!! I used to post alot. I will have to back and find my previous weight loss stats.

Mentally it has got easier. Day 6! Nice to see my container of shakes reducing and not many left so its end of the week nearly!!

Im gonna take one day at a time
That is the best way i find rather than trying to look at at the big picture xx

You are doing well Goose getting to day 6!

Hi Goose (found you!) :)

I completely agree about the palette cleanse - I need a "reset". I used to eat well, train at the gym five times a week with one treat day.....I need to get back to being that Gem (not the overweight one I am currently )

I'm on Day 3.....the husband is currently sitting next to me eating dry roasted peanuts! I don't want any though, it's not worth it. I want (need!) to lose 2st 7lb in the 8 weeks I have until my holiday so I can enjoy myself and not focus on how fat, gross and uncomfortable I feel. I'll then join SW to lose the last 1st 7lb to get me to 9st when I'm home (if I can't face TFR again).

I agree - one day at a time :) Your roses analogy comes to mind ;)

I tried a psychology technique yesterday - I named my "cravings" after someone I know who isn't very nice and each time I had food thoughts I just thought "Go away Rebecca". It really helped! And made me giggle too!

How are you today? I'm so glad we're on this together as no one else seems to be around xxxx

Hi Green Eyed Monster and Mini :)

How are you both? Are you doing Lipotrim at the moment? If not, please share your success story (if you don't mind of course) :)

I was very successful losing weight with Lipotrim...almost eight stone at one stage...sadly, not very good at keeping it off as my old bad habits eroded all my hard work.:classic_oops: On the up side it helped get rid of my psoriasis.:classic_big_grin:

This can happen at the start:(

Don’t forget your fibre clear.

Good luck with WI:)

I'm 5' 4.5".....12st 12lb at the moment  My "normal" weight is between 9st-9st 7lb so that's my ultimate of where I need to be, but I hope to be around 10st 7lb for my holiday in March.

He is supportive although he thinks it is extreme (which it is I guess), but I need to do this because I'm so miserable and unhealthy being this size. Not many diets ensure you're getting all of your vitamins and minerals for minimum calories like Lipotrim, so that's an added benefit / encouragement for me.

Day Four today - official weigh in is Thursday, but I'm going to the pharmacy tomorrow as I've not been since my holiday

I think I am in ketosis now as I'm not hungry anymore :p Felt a little weak doing the housework earlier, but I'm feeling okay - trying to think just one day at a time like you suggested Goose xxxx

Yay! That's excellent Goose, well done - over half a stone in only a week!! :p

How are you feeling today? How did you find the weekend? My husband was snacking on Christmas treats all day yesterday - for a moment I felt like I was missing out (not that I was going to have any), then I reminded myself; Eat Crap = Feel Crap

Oh and I'm panicking - I have a business meeting on the 26th and we're going for lunch! I cannot get out of it unfortunately so I'm going to have to eat - I have no choice  I thought the best option would be steak or chicken with salad or vegetables?

Gem my hubby thinks its a bit extreme too but is supportive. Not always been so supportive when I've been on and off the lipotrim wagon so i can totally understand why. Yes gem one day at a time is the best way else youll go mad

Re. The lunch. Its a difficult one. When I was on lipotrim the first time round I was pretty much 100% and only ate if I had to but bloody hell was i miserable. However I did find that if I stuck to low carb I would stay in ketosis and I will still get a loss that week and didn't find it too hard to get back. The key is being super strict and not diverting and saying oh I just have this cake. I have made tons of excuses not to eat when on this diet and it's not fun.

It's really a personal journey and you can either take the stance that you are going to be 100% until you get to where you want to be as much as possible or you can take the approach that where you have to eat and you have not got a choice to try and stay as local as possible just so that you are not totally excluding yourself.

If you stick to a steak and salad you will definitely stay in ketosis and have no problem hun. Don't get too worried about it.

I have a lunch in around three weeks I can't get out of but I will just cross that bridge when I get to it

Thank you for the advice Goose.

I am very much all or nothing - I don't see the point in being anything but 100%, so I am quite annoyed I'll have to eat  I have no choice as I literally cannot get out of this meeting (already tried to reschedule it!).

I usually avoid any socialising which involves food, which like you say is miserable.... in all honesty though, I am already miserable because of my size (not going for the sympathy vote as I did this to myself), but at least now my misery will only be temporary as I am doing something about it. I just cannot believe I let things get so out of control :( I had a stressful year last year and I was put on some anti anxiety/stress medication and I literally did not stop eating - I was in tears all the time as I just couldn't seem to get a grip and control it. It is so embarrassing and I feel so ashamed..... that said, I cannot dwell on that as it only fuels the self destructive cycle I was stuck in for so long!

Sorry to digress! Thanks again for the advice Goose - I'll stick to steak and salad/vegetables - I don't want to be ruining my hard work for one awkward compulsory meal! xx

Aw bless him - that's so supportive with the added benefit of Daddy / Daugher time :)

My husband offered to eat in the dining room away from me last night, and I was like errrmmmm bit late for that now Mr-eating-snacks-next-to-me-all-day (haha, I'm only joking), it doesn't seem to bother me too much at the moment - I hope it stays that way :)

Where are you Goose, I'm in Cambridge

When your doing this for say 12 weeks or 16 like me its virtually impossible to clear your diary of all social events till then
I personally feel to get the best out of this plan you need to stay 100% or as low carb as possible.

Im so sorry for everything you went through
That must have been so difficult.

Don't feel bad. I weigh more now than i did full term pregnant!!! I was so stupid and managed to lose 2 stones with slimmig world only to put it all back on. So honestly hun dont beat yourself up over it. At least your doing something right now to tackle it.

And one meal will not ruin everything at all xx

Weight and food will always be a challenge for me...i know that will never change.

We are both the same height!!! Im 5 ft 4.5 too! Aiming for 9st 4.

I dont think i realise how big i have got. My sis saw some pics and commented that it was the biggest shed ever seen me sob sob.

Had a giggle at the comments about your hubby!!! I am excited to get slimmer. I have a lunch in 3 ish weeks which i cant get out of so will just go with the flow x
