Hand Blenders

Hi,

Today bought a hand blender to take to work for the shakes.

went to Sainsburys and picked a "basic" one up for £4.89

Works ok for the shakes and soups.

Better than nicking the good one from indoors.:missing:

I can just tell my blender's about to give up the ghost. It's not seen so much action in years!

I started using a blender, but find giving it a good shake for a minute in the shaker is as good as anything, and does get rid of all the lumps. The shaker also makes it easier to have the drinks at work, where a blender just isnt an option.

I prefer a blender, it can whip up a nice froth, and i always put a ton of ice cubes into my choc shakes which actually makes it like a mackie D shake

Nope -my celebrity lim shaker does the job nicely -but when I've time (as I usually do these days :D) I blend them with ice like milktray man. Powerful! lol I bought a hand blender from argos...IT IS HUGE!!! And more than a little phallic -ahem -so it lies unused at the back of the cupboard. :D
