Hay Diet/Food Combining


Just wondering if anyone else has tried this? Basic concept is not eating proteins and carbs in the same meal.

I'm only following it loosely (not really counting the carbs/proteins in fruit and veg) but otherwise I'm finding it really good - as a vegetarian my only proteins are eggs and cheese really, so it stops me from putting cheese on stuff like bread and pasta, which is probably my main downfall! I have high hopes for this!!

My work colleague is a nutritional therapist trainee so she's going to set me up a diet plan etc so I will be following it more strictly soon!

Any advice/feedback on this diet?

Ive not tried it myself but i have heard good things about proper food combining.

With regards to diet- you say you wont be able to have much cheese...fair enough

But are you getting a decent protein source if cheese is cut down? (peas, NUTS etc can be good protein sources)

Calorie deficit and a lack of protein would be a poor mix id imagine.
