Haha! Laughing my wobbly butt off over here. :) Got to laugh though. I'm sure I give all our neighbours a giggle when I put The Small Boffin on the school bus in my cycling shorts, 3 sizes too big t-shirt and my super sexy socks and too-big pink crocs underneath. :)

Not much evening aerobics going on over here either, now that you mention it. ;) Hahaha!

EXERCISE
Yoga & Bollywood dance cancelled – I sat sweating in the gym for 20 mins, with no airco on as there was a power outage– surely this must count for something!!

Afterward went and did my shopping, day all mucked up, and too hot to swim when I got home – its over 40, and my pool is in the full sun, no shade. The water last night was 32 – its like a tepid bath

Eventual exercise – 30 min walk in blazing sun by the reservoir (plant shopping) 20 mins swim/aquajog/aquajillian – quite fun doing push ups, jumping jacks and butt kicks in the pool!

some pics, ladies I buy my veggies from, and the meat market - where I don't buy my meat from!

No Jillian’s shred as I’m feeling a bit ropey (* week)
As my poor husband will attest 2 lots of pulses in a day make me a poor sofa-mate!;)

Feeling all over the place today. I woke up last night – I thought it was because I needed the loo, but there were also some strange noises – it sounded like someone hitting a wall with a sledgehammer – but at 1.30 in the morning I didn’t think so – so went for a wee, and considered having a look in case we had a very noisy burglar, but decided to go back to bed (I was mostly still asleep). This morning it turns out it was mortars being fired that I could hear. Things here have been unstable for the past month or so after a student was beaten to death in police custody, there have been some violent demonstrations, but last night was the military – and they went looting too.

So my head is all over the place. We go on home leave in 2 weeks time, and I’m trying to work out whether I might need to pack more thoroughly than anticipated – if it kicks off while we are away, then I won’t be allowed back – though my husband will. Normally I would be rooting in the cupboards looking for something to squash my fear with – luckily there is nothing munchy in them, only ingredients, and whipping up a batch of cookies to binge on seems too much hard work, and its too early to use alcohol too.

We’ve been advised not to leave the house, so I can’t go round to a friends, and I can’t tell my mum, or sister since they would freak out big time. Luckily its too small a deal to make the news compared to Libya or Japan. So I tell my food diary instead…..
