Slowly But Surely
I discovered how easy, cheap, and amazing lentil soup is.
Ingredients:
1 cup of red lentils
1 onion
1 carrot
Garlic
Basil
Cumin
2 cubes of chicken stock
4 cups of water
Bring water to a boil, cook lentils for 10 minutes and reduce and cook for another 20. Chop onion and carrot and cook them in a pan, then mix in with the soup, as well as all of the other spices to your liking.
Makes three portions of 320 calories, is really delicious and so filling!
