Attack hello...and 7 pounds in one day!

#1
hi guys, thought I'd introduce myself instead of just lurking, I've been on mimimins for cambridge diet and atkins/pig2twig but my weight had creeped up by 2 stones over the past year and i needed a new diet to start fresh with so im now on dukan.

i started on saturday at 12.01 stone, then weighed myself on sunday morning..and i was 11.7...i couldnt believe it, i kept moving the scales about the house to see if i would get a different reading. i must have been carrying some serious water weight! now i feel like i can get on with some serious fat burning :D

weighed this morning and im 11.6.4 - i kind of guessed that i just had a freak whoosh and then for the rest of my 6 days attack it will be slow going..och well!

I've been on many a diet but never had this result before - i also noticed that i was in ketosis on the morning of day 2 and it usually takes 4ish days for me - so heres hoping ive found a diet that suits me!

good luck everyone else!

Well done Knickers :) I think thats about right?? My 1st week was 5.3kgs so I was happy with that and have found this is the only diet I really have stuck to and enjoyed doing :)

well i made it through 6 days of attack with only a few minor blips (2 glasses of wine on day 4, and some veg too, and an atkins choc bar on day 6) and here i am 10.6 pounds lighter!

had that muller light orange with dark choc for breakfast today :)

going for thai tonight for a leaving do - has anyone found anything suitable in a thai restaurant?

Well done on your losses

if you google "low carb thai food" it comes up with some dishes which have lower than the usual carb content.... but then you would have to apply - no dukan unfriendly veg and low fat to your own selection....basically just try your best :) low carb is better than thinking "stuff it" and going for anything on the menu x
