Shel, I'm sorry but your suggested diet would be terrible for your health, you wouldn't be getting the proper nutrition into you and would become ill, can you have a look around this forum and see if any of the plans suit you, maybe Weightwatchers counting points or Slimming World, both of which don't need you to buy specialised foods.

Hello Nikki!
As you know, this is Cambridge Diet forum, so most people on it are either using that, or another form of liquid diet. I am on CD myself, having lost 4 stones in 3 months last year, then falling pregnant and gaining it (almost) all back. I am currently on day 3 of CD and am soooo looking forward to my clothes starting to feel loose.
As for your question, as long as you know that you are getting all the nutrients, go for it. Personally, I think that something like CD would be a much better diet to follow because your body gets all it needs from the sachets. CD also has a variety of bars you can eat as well as flavourings for water and (haven't tried it yet) porridge.
I would stay clear of pepsi max and similar (in general) as really, there is nothing good for your body in there.
I have also tried many diets before and have managed to loose up to 2 stones at a time, then got fed up.
The beauty with liquid diet is that it goes off so fast it will make your head spin. Also after day 3 or 4 you stop feeling hungry, don't have to measure how much to eat/what to eat etc.
Try it and see if it's for you.
Good luck!

thanks girls, well in tesco today i came across some low carb drinks which was packed with good stuff that your body needs. and it is supposed to fill you up, its meant as a snack though i think?
anyhoo, today ive eaten a packed of crisps and a kit kat and a tiny bit of chicken so im going to start tommorow!
im hoping it works....im glad after the 4/5 days your body gets used to it because i get major hunger pains.

Hi there

The shakes that you can buy in the supermarket are not intended for total meal replacement but can be really effective if you have them with one healthy balanced meal a day. If you are looking to do liquid only you do need to go for one of the recognised VLCDs like Lipotrim, Cambridge, Lighter life etc.

Good luck with whatever you go for hun.

xx
