Help! What to do when things slow down?

Thanks Rusty great to hear from someone who has been through it and come out the other side! I tend to do a mixture of red, green and ee but having had 8 packs of assorted syn free goodies from Joe's sausages delivered I reckon lots of red days will be easy! I will let you know how I get on.

Your stats are incredible by the way!!!

Thanks Dreamer :)

Good luck, I hope it works for you too! I'm not sure if you are doing lots of exercise but be careful of doing weights in the gym on a high protein diet. A few weeks of it and you could be packing bigger biceps than Arnie!

Debs x

Ps Gotta love Joe's sausages! Bit pricey but they taste awesome and somehow it's a novelty getting sausages in the post lol.

Loving Joe's sausages! Worth every penny! I made scan bran scotch eggs with the sausage meat, had sausages and home made coleslaw a few times for lunches at work and yesterday did their chipolatas wrapped in bacon and sausagemeat to make stuffing to go with my roast dinner. They only syns was the gravy :)

I don't do weights because I do seem to get muscly very easy. I just do an hour on the cross trainer and some stretching. I have the most horrendous bingo wings that I wish I could get rid of though :( They don't match my new body and I'm so self conscious of them I will never wear sleeveless no matter how hot I get.

Weigh in tomorrow but it's star week so not expecting anything. At least if i'm heavier from water retention tomorrow it will reduce the inevetiable gain next week after 4 nights in belfast over this weekend hehe

eeeeeeeeeeep 3.5 off this week totally unexpected!! Can't really say why, but I have been eating a lot of frozen veg with all my meals, and have been trying to mix up my 'b' choices ie not just have my 2slices of bread everyday!

Will probably have two slow weeks now (my body seems to take a while to produce a loss) but will be buzzing for days now! Tough week ahead (lots of socialising eep) so fingers crossed I don't pay for it too badly :)
x

Wow Dreamer, your recipes sound delicious!

Totally know what you mean about the bingo wings, I have them too. No matter what I do exercise-wise they are there to stay... I just wasn't blessed with very elastic skin.

Glad to hear that you are living it up a bit too ;) Good luck at club.

Thanks Debs I lost a pound after all! Thrille! Ready to live it up in Belfast now woooo. Have a great week! X

Sent from my X10i using MiniMins

another pound so I must have got away with my social antics haha back focused this week though, saving my syns for a big night out at the weekend!

I suffer from bingo wings too but mine really are getting better, just consistent weights in particular a move thats on the Davina exercise DVDS (Who I thoroughly recommend as they are phenomenal!), where you put both arms behind your head and lift over your head. Ok I havent described that very well at all.......lol!!

Congrats on another loss, that's brilliant!
I was thinking about getting an exercise dvd. I should really speak to a personal trainer at the gym but I find them so intimidating!

I just got back yesterday from an amazing long weekend in Belfast. Weigh in tonight is not likely to be good  but my god it was worth it. My friend surprised me with a meal at a michelin star restaurant  holy god is all I can say! hehe

ahhhhh I've never eaten at a michelin star restaurant!! Jealous much! (although I can't even pronounce the dishes!)

I used to love the gym but they put the prices up and I couldn't afford to go anymore, so I invested in some DVDs and they are cracking! Do them religiously now haha.

Don't worry you're weigh in might not be as bad as you think!!! :)

NOOOOO chocolate melting puddings is my ultimate favourite dessert worth every single syn!!!!! :giggle:

Hehe and definitely worth 1.5 pound gain! So relieved!! 4 days of naughtyness I thought it would be so much worse!! yay!

wow that's really good!!! Wish I could get away with that haha I would probably put on 1.5 STONES!

I have 90syns saved up for my weekend...which I've calculated to be a whoooole lotta wine! :D

oooooooh the wine was gooooooooooooooood hahaha...the dancing as a result? not so good!

But WI saw 1.5 off which I'm chuffed with, only another 1 to my 2stone award ;)

I keep thinking I need to replace my HE's, for me my b choice is just bread or occasionally a Hi-Fi bar (really cant stand Scan-bran!)...do you have any suggestions? feel am in a bit of a rut, esp with breakfasts which always seem to involve cooked eggs of some variety and toast!!

hehe bad dancing is the best kind! Glad you enjoyed yourself honey and congrats on the great loss! That's fab!

How about having some dried fruit or nuts for your healthy extras? The baked apple with mincemeat is a really yummy option too. As for scan-bran I am a convert! It makes the weight drop off and if your learn how to "yummify" it it can be delicious!. Yesterday I made little carrot cakes with my HExB worth of scan bran and ate the lot for only 4 syns mmmmmm!!

Well I tried to make a chocolate cake with scan bran and that didn't go at all well :giggle:perhaps I shall have to keep experimenting! Is it really that effective? and do you have it regularly for it to give you a good loss or just once/twice a week say?

I try to have it every day and it has definitely kicked in my weight loss which had pretty much stopped. The scan bran cakes done in the microwave are grosssss. Try the carrot cake done in the oven but put the mix into little bun cases rather than one big cake. It's yummy and so easy to make!
I literally mix 5 crushed scanbran with a couple of grated carrots, 2 beaten eggs, 2 tablespoons of mincemeat, 1 tablespoon of sweetener and some ground cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix it all up dollop into the cases and bake for about 35 mins in the oven at 190. Then eat them ALL hehe 4 syns if you use the scan bran as a HExB!

dooooooom last week's wine must have caught up with me, shock 2pound gain this week. Bugger!!!! Hoping to lose it again this week though. Game on!
