Help with degree final project - allowed?

Hello all!

I'm a magazine journalism student and as my final project I'm looking to produce a proposal for a new magazine concept (an entertaining weight-loss magazine - something close to my heart, or as close to it as something can get given what's clogged around it), and I wondered if it would be OK to solicit your opinions on this and possibly ask you to fill in a quick survey?
