Here i am! *waves* - Brewin'a'Baby & Staying Slim! 2011 xx

Hey hun.
As im target i can drop in and out as i like, but i ALWAYS go every single week. ( i have missed the odd class, but only if i couldnt make it)

i am still going each week, just not weighing. I take my fruit salad with me and munch away whilst everyone weighs in. My C is very supportive, and as it doesnt mess up her new system because i dont pay anyways, its okay. Once i drop out of my target zone and really start heading towards my 5stone, il start paying again and will have to go weekly untill i hit my new target, but should only be a few weeks, as its only 7lb away. (i say only, you can tell im feeling positive today ;) lol)



i do love that dress. I felt great :)
 
Day FIVE :D 100% for 30 Days.

Breakfast: Two rashers of bacon ( fat removed of course..) 2 eggs, scrambled with a dash of semi-skimmed milk (0.5syns) baked beans, and 2 large grilled tomatoes.

slimmingworld Chips with peas and two small corn on the cobs, with a tsp of flora lighter than light (0.5syns) and chips were topped with vinegar- can someone confirm whether this is syn free, i'd completly forgot how much i love the stuff on me chips untill i spotted it in morrisons the other day!

Were off to Joes sisters for Tea. She says it'l be a pasta dish.. *sob* i hate not cooking. we'l see, iv saved my HEA, hopefully it wont be too bad. I asked Joe to ask her what it is she is cooking, but he refused.


i have munched on fruit all day long.. im like a black hole at the mo! eek. Shall update later..

Syns ended up at 25 yesterday. So will be adequetly reducing for rest of week :)

Lunch: pasta, topped with tinned toms, tuna, red pepper and red onion, seasoned with thyme, garlic italian, steak seasoning, pepper, oregano, wochester sauce and balsamic vinegar, seved with 28g chedder cheese HEA

1 pear, 1.5ltrs of water. 2 bites of a millies cookie (2syns)

more pinapple, 1 apple.

tea: slow cooker chicken :) roast potatoes, LOADS of brocolie and carrots, baby whole corn and gravey (1 syn)

Banana topped with sweetener.

Omigosh. Day Seven. :D Despite the wobble i had saturday night via the cupcake incident, i feel like iv been 100%.
I ought to do some exercise though!



Breakfast:
3eggs (scrambled -0.5syn) 2 large grilled tomatoes, baked beans and two bacon rashers.

I'm going to drink two full 1.5ltrs of water bottles.. so 3ltrs of water and any other fluids i intake.

Tea was a bit of an odd concoction due to me not reading packets properly.

Joes sausages, cubed potatoe and red onion, in a shwartz casserole mix (6syns for entire packetmix) and spaghetti in tomato sauce mix LOL (3 syns for entire dish) served with brocolie and carrots.. so for my portion i count one syn.

two more apples.


Cadburys hot chocolate made with water, 2syns.

3syns for day

Ive just realised I have done a 100% week which is unheard of for me!!! :)

Im feeling the same as you at the minute girlie cramps in my stomach are really sore!!! As Tammy Wynette once said, "Sometimes Its Hard To Be A Woman"!!! :mad:
 
Yay for you doing a whole week, I'm dead chuffed for you! Im trying not to see at as week by week, so it's day Seven, with Twenty Three to go!! Even twenty three days seems like alot, but my 'taking each day as it comes' tactic i'm finding this SO much easier. What im not finding easy is my excessive planning of meals etc.. i actually think i enjoyed doing it, despite the stress it was actually calling me. I enjoy the new feeling of freedom that not planning has given me.. but i also feel unorganised LOL.

Keep updating us, i love hearing how everyones getting on!!
 
wow, so i'v just heard the news about Sarah. Some of you may not have noticed in the shoutbox above on the main homepage, but a fellow member of minimins fell very ill with cancer recently and unfortunatly.. and has passed. :(

Despite not knowing this beautiful person, i have just been spending some time reading over her diary, from the beginning. All the lovley, kind things members on here say are so completly true. Even a stranger like myself can see just how fantastic a person she truely was and am deeply saddened despite never having the chance to meet her.

It has made me reflect on the events recently happening in my own life, and how i have dealt with them. I feel i have spent too long being caught up in raw emotion.. and too caught up in my desperation and determination to hit my new goal.. life is passing me buy without really enjoying or taking each day in.

I am so pleased i began the 100% for 30 days challenge, as my approach has been to take each day as it comes, slowly and steadily and begin enjoying food again. Being day seven i have deffinatly already began to feel the benifits mentally.. despite still being very tired and in a bit of pain due to the joint problems etc.

I am excited for tomorrow, and am appriciating today.. and i must mentally note to myself, how i should do this everyday, before each day passes faster and faster.. and i miss it all.

Its all a learning curve hey? especially as i get older, i am learning all the time. I must pick my battles, and not waste what precious energy i have on pointless things. I must learn to enjoy and relax.. and most importantly appriciate it all so much more. I am so very lucky to be happy and healthy, have a loving family depsite their problems, and have a beautiful OH, who i cannot fault, for all his quirkyness lol a job i really enjoy.. and how can i complain when i have so much support on hand, whenever i need it.. here with my friends on Minimins. Its easy to forget how much of my moaning you lot put up with :p


So on day seven, with twenty three to go. I start a new challenge also, to take each day is comes, not only for my weightloss, but for the pure enjoyment of life. I must not take myself so seriously.. or life itself for that matter.

I hope this beautiful lasts for tomorrow.. what a nice start to a fresh day it would be.. but for now.. i'm taking a book to the garden, to enjoy it for the last few hours before it goes dark.

DAY EIGHT! 100% for Thirty Days.

Breakfast: Two apples, One pear, Two alpenlights HEB

Dinner: The odd sausage concoction from last night LOL ( Joes sausages, cubed potato, red onion, spaghetti in tomato sauce and swartz seasonings 1syn) with a rhubarb mullerlight.

Snack: Pinapple, strawberries, apple, rasberries
chicken..

tea: Massive bowl of pasta topped with homemade spag bowl. Had intented to do meatballs, but my head is banging so really couldnt be fluffed today! LOL Extra lean mince, tinned tomatoes, one orange pepper, one red onion, two garlic cloves, thyme, oregano, steak seasoning, beef oxo cube, garlic italian, wochester sauce and balsamic vineger.. All topped off with 42g cathedral light. YUMMY :D and more importantly.. syn free.


1syn so far, may opt for a hot chocolate late rfor two syns, but right now i dont need it. Have drank two litres (possibly a bit more) of water.

Do you think so? I still havn't done any exercise, I know i should.. i just honest to god cannot get the energy or motivation to get off my ass. :eek:

Iv eaten ALOT this week, due to being * week i suspect, feel like a bottomless pit really. Its class tomorrow, and i HAVE to leave my card at home so i can't be tempted to weigh. I could do if i wanted but i promised myself i'd weigh fortnightly for my own sanity. I think im just scared i wont see a result the week after when i weigh? :(

Plus i feel ****ing huge, *scuse language* i know that its my * week, but my stomach is deffinatly bigger???

chocolate 4syns

Morrisons Veg kebabs (2.5syns for oil) with uncle bens wok rice counted at 1.5 syn for half pack) steak is soy sauce and 5spice

followed by jelly 1.5syns and a cadburys highlights mousse 3syns

14.5 syns for day. Went to class and thoroughly enjoyed image therapy am ready for a new week and on to day ......

I'm dead proud of myself. Those of you who have read my diary from the beginning will remember my horrible experiance at my local swimming pool. I swore i'd never go back, but after startingan aquafit session just before xmas, it really built my confidence up and i eventually started actually swimming.. but continued to drive 30mins out of my way to do so, to go to a different pool.
Well, with lack of energy and motivation and a tad of sheer lazyness.. i stopped going about two months ago (maybe even longer.. eek)

But today i'v dragged myself out of bed, as i no longer have my * week to blame today. . and i went swimming. Not only did i go swimming, i went to my local pool.. with my head held high, and i managed 50lengths!!! My best yet. I am so over the moon, i thought i'd be starting from scratch again and re-assured myself that if i could just do 20 i could begin working my way up again, and that if i could do 30 which i was doing reguarly before i stopped.. id be even more pleased. . i never expected to be able to do 50 though. SO a good start to a new week, and DAY 10 on the 100% for 30 days challenge.. and most importantly seven days till WI.

Breakfast: Mullerlight, two alpens. HEB

Fruit salad of Banana, Orange, Grapes & Strawberries with sweetener.

UPDATE- tried quark mixed with wikid white options (2.5syns) served with strawberries and grapes. Think it would be much better baked into a cheesecake is all i kept thinking tbh!

Then, at 10pm i realised i'd had no HEA! so i ran to kitchen to make up some creamy pudding rice made with my HEA, well it took so darn long by 20 past 10, i couldnt be bothered, had a few spoonfulls and chucked it. Weighed out 28g of cheese and had it with some more grapes.

Then off to bed i went!!

oh and half a hot choc.. 1 syn

so 3.5syns for the day..


End of Day 10. Can't wait for 11. Bring it on!

Desperatly want to be 9st 11 at weigh on wednesday, it would be a frickin miracle. I want it so bad.. but just dont know. Iv only been manageing very small losses atm.

Am clinging to the side of the '100%' boat today or so it feels. Eatings really thrown out.

Going to a birthday bbq tomorrow, am taking quorn sausages and joes burgers, but im nervous. Cant wait to see my friends but feel a bit.. eek. I hope i can still be 100%

DAY 12 100% for 30 days

The sun is shining, weather is promising for the day. Im in my size 10 next linen trousers, and for the first time, im voulentarly wearing red :O .. im feeling positive again today. I can do this.

Two alpen light bars HEB 1 orange and 1 apple.

Sat and watched joe's parents have a cooked breakfast and chocolate cake at 11am.. i refused and had my diet coke.. *yes, thats my shiny halo blinding you* haha.

got back to their house at half 12 after a walk around the shops and had a tom and herb pasta&sauce with added white onion, ham and 42g cheese HEA with cherry toms and mixed leaf salad.

got to the bbq and had loads of carrot sticks, & cherry tomatoes, grapes and a whole fresh pinapple to myself :)

then i had 1 joes burgers and some ketchup 1syn.

and as a treat, i had white choc buttons approx 4syns, some haribo, again counted at 4syns, two toblerone triangle bits 4syns? and drank diet coke and 3ltrs of water all day.

i made a swift escape before the birthday cake was unleashed, but had a fabulous day and have felt really pleased after seeing my friend Karen, who told me she joined slimmingworld after running into me last time and has lost 3.5stone since christmas!!!! she says i was her inspiration and she cant thank me enough! how sweet. Infact her consultant is the bloke in this months magazine.


Just had a bowl of strawbs, grapes and sweetener..

wanted to go for run but sports bra in wash and cant do without it! silly big boobies!!

Aquafit monday night, god i'l kill for a 3lb loss on wednesday. I desperatly wanna be 9 st 11. It'd make my day. I dont think its gunna happen though :(

Okie cokie - Day 13, 100% for 30 days.


I dont feel that im loosing any weight, but i think thsi 100% for 30 days challenged has helped me relax tremendously. The pressure of weekly Weigh In's clearly was getting to me, and since iv started taking each day as it comes, rather than over planning and analysing each day down to every meal and snack, i feel much healthier mentally, because of this i am re-evaluating my general weight loss. I have been trying to shift 7lb since christmas, but just keep going up and down, up and down.. and just cant do it. Some weeks i have not given it my all, other feel like iv worked my ass off and for nothing.. so.
Im giving it 8 more weeks. After that, if im not at my new target, or just a lb or so off.. im going to stick with my normal target weight. I found 10st 1 easy to maintain with the 3lbs leway sw give you, so if in 8 weeks iv made no progress, i think its in my best instrest to call it quits.

However, i aim deffinatly now motivated to stay on track, just wish my bloomin sweetooth would bugger off lol



Update*-

Breakfast: Mullerlight (rhubarb yummy) two bananas, two oranges, strawberries and grapes.

10:45- Two alpen lights HEB and an apple.

1pm pasta with syn free bolognese ( xlmince, tinned toms, garlic, garlic italian, steak seasoning, thyme, oregano, onions, peppers, balsamic vinegar and wochester sauce) topped with 28g cheese HEA

6:15- slow cooked chicken, fat drained and skin removed with ainsly harriot tomato cous cous, and served with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, caugette and peppers in the garlicy oil sauce 4syns.

7:15 two activia fat free yogurts and a whole tub of cherry tomatoes!

Day 14. 100% for 30 days.

Argh. Today. Still 100%, but Argh.

Today i was due my test results back, but had to work 11:30 till 6. So, i got up and went to my docs 9am sharp. When i got there, 8 people were in front of me, (you dont make appointments, your seen in order you arrive or medical emergancy) i waited an hour and half.. then had to give up because i needed to go to work. Receptionist said all my tests came back normal, bar one. My liver came back abnormal.. which i thought nothing of untill i phoned my mum and she got very worked up and concerned, so after leaving so i could go to work, well.. by the time i got there i was a state, i was hot and bothered and desperate to speak to the doctor. My lovley ELC boss sent me home at half four so i could get to the doc's before they closed at 6. I made it at 5:10, and waited untill 7!!!!! Finally i was seen.

My liver (level?) should be 40, and its 50 which he says is unusual for someone myage to have such a number. He says i have to have all the tests done again in 3 weeks, and if my liver comes back abnormal again, i will have to have another set of tests done to see if i have a viral infection that is damageing my liver and thus making me poorly.. and if it comes back normal i have to have another batch of different tests, and then il be referred to a reumatholigist(!!!!???) my spellings apauling i know, but you know what i mean.. an arthitic specialist about my joint pain.


I am tired, and i am grumpy, and i want to go to bed. I missed aquafit thanks to spending over 3 hours of my life in a stuffy doctors room, and i have to be up early for work tomorrow. Huff. Im really fed up.

3 peices of my carrot cake bites (1/2syn) and one mini oreo cheesecake 3syns + 2tiny bits of biscuit earlier 3 syns.

10.5 syns for day. 1.5ltrs of water (possibly more) and i swam 30 lengths after work. :rolleyes: It was difficult dragging myself to the pool after work, but i did it.. i feel good for it and i can only hope that it pays off.

have baked mini oreo cheesecakes and made the carrot cake from the website and topped with almond flavoured quark for the slimmingworld party tomorrow. Man of the year comps are going on at the mo @ HQ but we have a lovley bloke called nick who has downs, he's done so amazingly well, im jelous of his 4lb weekly losses! although he doesnt qualify for the actual comp, were all throwing him a party as our man of the year.. with balloons and food etc. He doesnt know anything about it yet, im quite excited to see his face!


I am scared for weigh in tomorrow. My C made a comment last week- not to intentially put pressure on me, she said it in a joke- but she mentioned about this Wi being 'epic' as i havnt weighed for 3 weeks now. So now im being all paranoid and thinking i need to show a major loss.. even though i wont have done.

Im scared :( - when i weighed at the docs last week it showed me at 64kg, 10st 1 exactaly. Even if im just 9st 12 tomorrow i would be happy (my last weigh in was 9st 13) id kill to be 9st 11, but no way itl happen. if im ten stone, i may just cry again!


 
well, im back from Wi and yet another pound heavier. i am so fed up.. iv had enough tbh!!


had a lovley time at slimmingworld party, and nick was very pleased bless him.Was also very happy to hear my consultant was contacted by slimminworld on friday and asked if i still go to group and were interested in an article on me, not getting my hopes up, we'l see if what happens


huff ****ing huff is all i can say. Cant wait to get away to allton towers this W.e!
 
Aw I'm sorry your not happy with the result :( You know what though, 10 stone is an amazing weight to both acheive in the first place and maintain. You should be proud missy!

Fingers crossed for the Slimming World thing! How exciting ;)

Thanks for the replys girls.

Im finding it really difficult and have subsequently fallen off the wagon yesterday. I wont tell you in foody detail but i didn't bother counting syns. However, i felt really unwell after, and so i was able to see the benifit of my 100% for 30 days challenge, becos i hadn't binged in over two weeks, it reminded me that i hate feeling unwell after eating lots of naughty food, and that its really not worth it. It also brang home that i so much more enjoy my food when i have a bit here and there, as and when i really fancy it, rather than immediatly thinking i must eat it all at once and making myself poorly. I cannot remember i time when i enjoyed the food iv eaten during a binge, because i eat so fast and dont really taste it. It reminded me why maintaining worked so well for me.

Iv been back on track today, but right now i'm not really concidering the weight i want off anymore. I went shopping today and without any trouble, slid two pairs of size ten next jeans right over my bum and they fitted perfectly. It almost made me cry for being so ungratful. I am were i wanted to be, infact i am further than were i wanted to be, my goal was size 12. I guess iv been kidding myself that i'm just a size ten in 'some' places, i made a point of seeing how many shops i could fit in a size ten, and the answer was them all. I would like to be 9 st 8.5, have my 5 stone award and have a really healthy bmi, but i just dont think i can do it. So for now im going to just continue with my challenge and go from there, if it isnt shifting in the next four weeks, im going to continue maintaining and go back to my original target, i will have been trying to loose for over 6 months then and i think thats more than enough time, i'v tried and maybe it's time to call it a day.

Iv been quite stressed after my test results and am looking forward to alton towers this weekend, i'm nervous about the food though, but wont think about it too much at all. I just hope the weather picks up.

lunch was jacket spud with baked beans from spud-u-like, i asked for cheese on side, and ate half without and then added a guess of 28g on the last half so i wasnt tempted to cover it in cheese. Diet coke.

had a melon and grape box when i got home, 1 orange and a mullerlight

tea was chilli con carni made with lean mince (couldnt get xlean) made with shwartz packet, pepeprs, onions and kidney beans, served with brown rice, very low fat yoghurt, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber. 2.5syns

just had 3 marshmellows, not entirly sure of the syns there, but maybe 1.5 if half a syn each?
