Hev & Bev's 12 week countdown to target- Everyone welcome!!!

Hey ladies, I'm back from my hols and ready to go!! Currently eating lots of fruit, salad and lean meats and drinking tons of water and detox tea in an attempt to limit some damage ready for this weeks WI.
Will update you all later in the week.

Hope you are all well, congrats to Leapfrog xxx

Welcome home Jay!! Hope you had a lovely relaxing time!! Sounds like you've cracked it and pulling it back already! That's always the tricky bit!! I'm sure you'll be reporting with a favourable post-holiday result very soon!!XXX

Well ladies, my news tonight is that I've lost 1.5lb! That's 3 consecutive weeks of losses which is a record for me for quite a while! Being the hard to please girl that I am, I was hoping to get under my lowest yet, but instead I got BACK to my lowest yet, so I'm OK with that! It does mean that I can now set myself new mini-goals and move on! My goal for next week is 1lb as that will make me my lowest yet but also give me a BMI of exactly 25! The only obstacle I have is a 2 night stay Fri/Sat in Somerset but determined to stay on plan! Good luck to all my challenge buddies!!X

Much better thanks! Back on 3 meals a day and everything. You should watch it bbc2 tues 8pm. Have a bowl of strawberries at the ready to feel saintly!

has anyone been watching the food porn that is the great british bake off? disclaimer-not recommended when not in "the zone"

Food porn for me is sniffing tiger bread, and drooling past the cakes n freshly baked pies n sausage rolls in morrissons!!!
Ive also started watching cake boss and ace of cakes, though to me theyre a little bit like 'readers wives' - u kinda know what theyre trying to do, but theyre just not quite masterbakers! Lols :0)

Well done Hevva!

they always make me think of masterchef australia too!
Oh heavens - I watched this when we were in the UK and the cake looked yummy. If your wedding cake was anything as scrummy as this I pity your poor guests' waistlines!

Omg that's just so funny, lol

Aw hun, well as I've said loads of times before, it's fine to have a bit of a blow-out, the important thing is being able to address it afterwards which you obviously are right now!! (liking the 'it's not even funny' lol!!) Besides, 1.5lb gain could have been worse- that's the kind of gain you can correct very easily in 1 week!XXX

Thanks Hevs! Am back in the zone now but am making sure I write EVERYTHING down this week as I am feeling wobblier and not liking it! I'm not doing too well at this challenge it has to be said

I am seriously considering changing my target to 10 stone - I think that's a perfectly good weight for me and I have basically been maintaining 10.2 / 10.3 for months now. I think 10 is a lovely round number and I almost feel comfortable in my own skin. I am going to give it a little bit more thought first before I decide though. Have a good day one and all xx

Do have a good think about it - as 10 st is a nice weight for someone at 5' 7". At my lightest I was 9 st 5 lbs and I was teeny and could look ill in the wrong things! I was at my happiest at 10st 5 !!!

Well its not for me to say as we're all such different shapes, bone structures and everything, but at 5'6 my Target is 10st10, BMI of 24.2 so 10 stone flat for someone an inch taller must be very slim! It must be towards the lower end of a healthy BMI! You have to stop when you're ready and comfortable in your skin and not when other people advise you to! If you are doing everything you can and really finding it hard to shift any weight then this may be a sign from your bod that its time to leave it there and maybe just concentrate on exercising and timing! X

Yes I am seriously considering it! I used to be 9.5 too Bev but that was nearly 7 years ago and my body has changed so much since then. There is no way I am anywhere near being skin and bone - I've attached a couple of pictures so you can see - I can actually bear to look at piccies now so that's a good sign! Still got a belly and wobbly arms but I'm in the 30's now :p :p As far as BMI goes, 10 stone would be a BMI of 21.9 so smack bag in the centre of the healthy range so no harm there, certainly a good stone or so away from being at the lower end. I will keep thinking though - just seems like a bit of a cop out to have come this far - but I'll let you know. Thanks for any advice. I'll stop hi-jacking now……..;)
