hi all, please help :(

    Hi everyone
    hope you are all well & had a good day.
    I had the day off today to go shopping but i went to the dr's this morning and I've got laryngitis :sigh: I've felt rough for over a week and to make matters worse i got on the scales this morning and have gained again :cry:. I can't seem to get my head back into it since i got back from Mexico and to make it worse I go away in 3 weeks to New York with 3 girlfriends. I'm not even looking forward to it because I've put on so much weight :cry:. One of the girls I'm going with has lost over 2 stone with LL and I really am pleased for her but every time i look at her it reminds me what I can't do and then i feel bad again. I can't do 790 or 1000 because I can't handle any food in my diet, it has to be all or nothing for me: all being eating everything in sight like a possessed lunatic :cry: I spoke to the doctor about binge eating disorder and she said she can refer me for therapy but i said I'd think about it :confused: I just don't know what to do about anything, I'm such an organised perfectionist in all areas of my life (my friends call me Monica, its that's bad!) apart from where food and weight is concerned??
    Thanks for reading guys, sometimes its just nice to talk about it without people looking at you like your a freak!!

    Maz honey!!! calm down! you are getting yourself all knotted up!

    firstly you probably put on because your body is thrying to fight a virus.

    Secondly look at how well you have done already! you've had the blips before and you have and WILL get over them! You are over half way there!!!

    and stop thinking that you are a freak!!! YOU ARE A STRONG BEUTIFUL WOMAN!!!! If you beat yourself up all the time you are bound to feel like **** (sorry for swearing!)

    You know where we are when you need us and you still have my e-mail address I am always here for you!

    Chill out sweetie you are doing fine!!!!

    I agree with what Lucy is saying- you have come so far. Ok you have gained some weight back, but don't let it upset you to the point of depression - I have been down that route and it really isn't healthy.
    Hun...have a few days to think about what it is you really want to achieve - write it down if you need to.
    Do NOT compare yourself to others, as this will make things even worse for you.
    Whether you stick to a plan now, or wait until you come back from New York (you lucky thing you!!!), decide what you want.
    Personally, as you are not in the frame of mind to concentrate on anything, I would try to eat as healthly as you can and then wait until after the hol then knuckle down until Christmas.
    You know we are all here for you if ever you need the support.

    Come on Maz, cheer up hunny. Get your head in the right place, and your body healthy before you do CD, eat healthily until you can get back on track. don't beat yourself up or compare yourself to anyone else, you are MAZ and you are very pretty and strong! Enjoy New York it will be a fabulous experience hunny! You can't not look forward to a trip like that!!

    Sorry to hear you're not having a good time of it lately - if you read through quite a few of the threads, many are in the same boat.. heads are just off track at the moment. It is a blip and you're doing more self-harm by beating yourself up.

    With this diet you have to become self-obsessed to concentrate on it - are you pre-occupied with other things going on in your life right not that's stopping you focusing on you..? Have you had a look round and considered what else is going on in your life and that maybe they're playing a big factor in why you can't focus on CD?

    You've done so well Maz and you know you can do when you're in the right frame of mind. Take some time out to analysis what's important to you right now and if it's not the diet then just plan for the future and set yourself a time/date when you know you'll feel ready to begin again and during the time from now to then don't beat yourself up...

    I've a friend who's done amazingly well on CD (I think she's lost in the region of 6st) but we've all got different things going on in our lives and different things spur different people on. My friend recently lost her dad and I think she used CD to focus on something positive for her. Her twin brother did the same and lost his weight with LL.

    None of us realise what effect we have on other people and maybe your friend is jealous of the fact that you recently had a wonderful holiday and you're off with the girls again in a few weeks...

    I don't know if any of the above will make any sense to you but you've just done so well, you're absolutely stunning and got so much going for you that it seems a shame when you hear someone just focusing on the negative....

    You can do this BUT when you're in the right place...

    Thank you for all your lovely comments and advice.
    I wish i was the sort of person who could have a break from dieting/CD and then decide what to do but unfortunately i would continue to binge and then end up even heavier and more depressed. I have to get my head round this and continue. I'm sure after a few good days I'll drop enough weight to start feeling better but its just hard getting through the first few days.
    Its nice to know I'm not alone though, its great having so much support and people who REALLY do understand - thank you x

    Maz i just want to say u are beatifull as u r hun, u have had a few blips but we all have, i hope u enjoy your girlie holiday. if u put your mind to it u could lose a good bit by then, good luck.xx

    Thank you, i did think that if i stuck to it for 3 weeks i could lose a stone which would certainly improve my mood and my holiday wardrobe! x

    That's sounds like a mini-goal that does.... :)

    You'll do it and you're right you'll feel great after 3 weeks SS'ing..

    Hi Maz

    Big hugs to you sweetie - so sorry you are having a tough time lately.

    I know you SS'd up to your holiday and you want to SS now but I'm sure you should be on a higher plan. By SSing all the way to the end your body wont have a chance to readjust and so when you eat the weight will go on alot quicker.

    SSing is so much easier in a strange way because as you say you can take food out of the equation altogether. But, at some point you will have to start eating again and learning how to make healthy choices. I think its really important that you work up the plans this time hun.

    I know how you are feeling because i am on 1000 and finding it hard to control my fruit portions but i am just doing my best day to day because i know that i have to retrain my thoughts and its going to be a life long process!

    I know you can do this Maz, keep going hun, we are all here for you

    Thank you, i did ss up to my holiday but now i nearly back to square one so I'm heavier enough to be on ss again. I can't believe i've put nearly all the weight back on when i was so close :( Oh well, here i go again!

    i think you're supposed to move up to 790 when you are BMI 25 plus one stone so you may already be at that weight? I'm not sure.

    It must be hard feeling as though you are back at the beginning but at least you know you've done it before and so you can do it again. If you get yourself back on track now you should be done and dusted by christmas and still be strutting your stuff at those xmas parties!:D

    when you are poorly no amount of dieting will work properly as your mind isn`t focused

    thank you all for your words of encouragment and support yesterday, i managed to make it through the day and stepped on the scales this morning and have lost 3 lbs in one day! That should keep me motivated for the next couple of days :) not sure i would have made it through without you guys, thank you so much. Maz x

    Congratulations Maz that's a great weightloss and motivation to keep you on the straight and narrow.

    i hope the thought of posting helps me stick with it. I didn't reaslise how much support there is on here until i stopped posting and started gaining! :)
