Hi all

Sorry to ask a question on my first post.

I'm eager to start on the Cambridge diet. I have to get the forms signed by my doctor as my BMI is over 40.

Unfortunately, the next available appointment is 27th Nov and the receptionist said that he probably won't sign any forms for it.

Have any of you had your forms signed by the practice nurse instead?

The doc doesn't need to approve of the diet itsself, he just needs to confirm that you filled in the form truthfully... so to say.

can you not ring up on the morning and see if you can get an appointment that day instead of waiting ages? you could die in that amount of time.

Hahaha...if we ring up for an appointment for that day, we get 20 questions from the nurse...so unless you are dieing you ain't got a hope in hell!
