I have a holiday coming up too, and, as we've been planning it for a year, and we don't have holidays very often, I have decided I will eat while i'm away. My CDC agrees with this and said that although I will be putting my goal back a few weeks, to just enjoy it.

I don't want to go mad, and will try to eat sensibly, but I think the hardest thing - for both of us - will be getting back into the swing of things afterwards.

Whatever you decide we will all be here to support you when you get back. Have a lovely time, and please let us know how you get on and I would love to know how much weight you put on (if you do decide to eat) as I am away for the same amount of time.

Hi Angel, I So Gald I Have Someone on the same boat as me, well i am gonna eat two days to go and thought i should start eating now so i can save my shakes for when i come back and ill work hard and stick to it, where are you going babe??? cant wait to eat food.. just enjoy yourself and remember you havnt been on holiday for a long time and dont ruin it by thinking about it... Enjoy Love ill keep you post and you do the same... xxx

Whatever you do my only advice would be to get back on track as soon as you get back. I had 2 weeks in Mexico in Sept and had an amazing time, I thought i did ok but i gained a stone :( (i don't even drink alcohol!!). The stone didn't bother me too much but the 6 weeks messing around since has, and I've just got back into it. I would say have a great time and book your appointment with your CDC for the day after you back to make sure you can get back on the scales and back on track. Have fun and enjoy yourself x
