hi i am going to try schwartz bombay potato mix but was wondering what people used from there spice rack just to make them tastier ty xx

Look at the ingredients on the back of the pack and get them in - expensive at first but in the long run it will save you money.

I sometimes use one called cajun spice, its in one of the schwartz bottles and is quite nice on meat or potatoes. I also use dried chilli flakes on wedges.

Chilli flakes, lemon, salt & pepper. Or a crumled up stock cube....yummy :)

warm up a little marmite (to make it runny) then coat par-boiled potatoes and dryroast them in the oven.

You'll either love them or hate them. :D ;)

OMG! So up my street!!! :D

My DH does this amazing thing with new potatoes where he drains them and then heats them up for a few seconds in salt and vinegar. They are so nice and a good way to liven up something normally drowned in butter.

I think that potatoes are so delicious anyway that they don't need anything to spice them up, just a little bit of Maldon salt and Wynad black pepper.
