The more I have tried to find the answer to this question, the more confused I have got!

A few websites say no more than 4 weeks but 4 weeks isn't going to enable me to achieve the losses required - probably much nearer 7 to 8 months is needed.

Is it safe to be on a total food replacement diet for that long?

Has anyone done it for that length of time?

    Thanks :)

You can remain on this diet until you get to goal. Some people have been on it for months. You'll get advice from your Pharmasist so any questions you may have they'll be sure to answer. I was on it for six weeks before my holiday and there was no talk by the pharmasist of me having to come off it.

I was on it from July 2007 to December 2007 so I wouldn't worry about it.

Ooh good - thanks! :) I'll bring it up with the pharmacist on Wednesday but it sounds silly now anyway! Oops!
