How long till you dropped a dress size...

I put on my jeans for the first time in a few days and they're too tight I've just started LL (day 1 today), so I know they won't be tight for long, but I'm wondering if more experienced LLers could tell me, how long till you dropped your first dress size? I can't wait to get into a smaller size!

I have been on LL for 4 weeks and I put a pair of jeans on yesterday that were always too tight (muffin top), they were loose every where. On the waist, bum and legs. In 4 weeks I have lost just over 5inches from my waist!

Obviously there is no exact science as people lose weight from different places at different times. But I was always told it is roughly 1 dress size a stone.

Melarnz - I assume we discount most of the first weeks weight loss from that equation as its glycogen rather than fat? Be interesting to see...

oh yes do measure yourself - will give you a real boost to see what you've lost in inches - especially when there's weeks when you may not lose so much.

I've lost a stone in 3 weeks and gone down a trouser size - wore size 20 on my weigh in (an they weren't comfy) and it was 2 weeks in when they felt baggy - looking forward to going into work tomorrow in a pair of size 18 - from Tesco for a fiver - bought a pair in size 16 too as it won't be long until the 18s are too big - thats the beauty of LL!

When I started on my bottom half I was a size 18, getting close to a size 20 in some stores!

I've lost 2st 4ibs, and just treated myself to a new pair of jeans, they're a size 16 as there was no size 14's in the sale and they're too big! So am roughly a 14 now

So the stone/dress size thing does seem about right!

I was thinking that about myself "why didn't I do this years ago" but the main thing is we are doing it now

My body does make me giggle though - weight falling off from everywhere but my boobs!!!

Tracy, I was angry at myself for don't doing this sooner. I think it lasted for the first two weeks but now I just feel like I must be doing this at the right time for me because I feel so good doing it.

That's exactly my point! Everyone complains that their boobs disappear with rapid weight loss - given the size of mine (40F ) I actually wanted that to happen!

And yet nowt doing on that front!! I swear my body is doing it to torment me on purpose - they must be worth a 10lb weight loss just on their own :8855:

oh girls - (sorry Flex) im in the boob club too! i went down from a 40H and I now where a 32H - It all came off my back and midrift - although, the cup does get smaller with the back size, so they are shrinking a little bit! i would love to have an augmentation just to pick em back up again - lol
