Hi Hanamo, hi everyone!
I tried doing SW online for a while and didn't stick to it so last week I joined a class and tomorrow will be my first weigh in. This thread is v interesting! I have totally been sticking to the plan and I hope I will have lost some weight although I have been eating A LOT. I know it is a cliche for new starters to say this btu I honestly can't believe I will have lost much weight the amount i've been putting away. I've been doing the third Superfree foods but part of me wonders whether Slimming World would have anticipated quite how much food I can eat! lol. I'm exactly the same. I seem to have been eating loads and when I didn't lose anything last week, I thought this can't be right?? However, I lost 2.5 lbs this week, and as I lost 2.5lbs in my first week - that 5lbs total over 21 days. It's nowhere near as impressive as some of the weight loss on here .. but I'm so glad I had a loss this week as it proves I am doing it right and you actually can eat as much as I am lol! Was very disheartened last week when I didn't lose anything.
I've just eaten the most enormous dinner - much bigger than I ever would before SW - but when I looked at the plate I realised the only thing that wasn't free was my 35g of cheese grated over the baked potato and that was a healthy extra. Everything else was free, and there wasn't a single Syn on the plate! It's very much a case of what you eat, rather than how much and that's what is so great about SW.
