How to lose half your body weight in 10 days (Or a bit longer!)

Sounds likes he's got lots to keep him busy! Your brother sounds a bit like mine used to be, he's better now he has a wife to send cards for him lol. Maybe he is trying for the full set? At least he called though so you know he didn't forget.

I saw online earlier that (I can't remember the exact location but somewhere in England) today has been 2degrees, this date last year in the same place it was 20degrees! So much for the planet getting warmer! The bit getting warmer needs to share!
Would be nice to get a bit of a summer. Last year we went to kos in may- the week we went was the coldest wettest week in may they had had there in years and it was the hottest week in England. Sod's law at its best. Hopefully we'll get that week we call summer soon enough!

Def agree about the cakes, just doesn't work with sweetener! What sort of cake are you making him? Xx

It is a chocolate cake. It is strange because it uses oil, not butter. I've made it before though so I know it does work. The two halves are cooling on racks now, so it really does work. Oh and he only rung because it is the same day as his ex and daughter's mother.

Mum's just had a tantrum and stormed off.... one more month!

That sucks about the backwards holiday weather! I don't think we will get a summer, I think we will get washed out to sea bit by bit! Here's hoping we will get some warmth

Awww whys your mum in a strop?? Save us all a piece of cake lol. I love a good cake with a cuppa I cant remember the last time I had one

Mmmmm sounds good! Oh never heard of oil instead before, suppose its just different type of fat though isn't it? Will you post a pic when its finished? Could do with some food porn? Haha!

Oh not so impressed about him ringing now then! Just don't bother sending him anything on his birthday!

How close to the sea are you? I remember you saying your big town is Exeter but can't picture how close to coast that is. I think I have family there but not really sure, I know I've been and liked it :)
We need to do a sun dance I think..

There will be lots of cake don't worry.

Scarlet hun, I live in Lyme Regis. So right on the coast, but I'm a 25 minute walk away and it is all hills, we're not along the river and we are half way up a hill. So we are pretty safe.

She said it was because I was typing on here. I said I'd put it away, no problem, and she should have said, but to be honest she just wanted to throw another tantrum and try to make me feel like cr@p, when actually I just thought "how plucking childish". She also wanted to go on the computer but it wasn't on or something else completely insignificant.

I have seen a couple of oil recipes but always been wary. This one is from my mum's cousin, she made us it once and it was brilliant. Add to the fact we have no baking butter it was going to have to be an oil one. Not olive oil I should add. I used sunflower oil, but vegetable oil would work as well... something with no flavour basically.

That's good, stay up that hill! We don't want you washed away!

Totally missed the bit about your mum, hope she stops the strop soon! X

Does the oil make it more moist? Trying to imagine the difference and that's the only one I can't think of, not sure though I don't bake much as mike doesn't like cake so if I make cakes- I eat cakes!

Mike doesn't like cake? or mint? I'm starting to think he is not the man for you. haha. joking.

Ummm, I dunno. Most cakes can have butter swapped for oil I read. I just know it is a nom nommy cake. and Nate likes chocolate and cake and marshmallows and I don't want to put a candle on it because I don't want his tonsillitis germs all over it! so the marshmallow sheep is going to be a marshmallow number 2 instead. I will just have to not eat the whole thing. I love cake. I get intense cravings for battenburg and parkin.

Oh she stropped off to bed so I don't especially care!

To be honest I don't think anyone will get any marshmallows with marshmallow face upstairs. I have made marshmallow before, and it is a lot of fun. Unfortunately with boiling sugar it is not an activity to do with kids.

Scarlet that is weird! But handy! no one steals my chocolate upon pain of death!

I had a pack of wotsits earlier. 5 syns so weekly total is 22.5 at the end of day 4 :) Roasted piggy tomorrow. YAY. Full flabbers in the morning too. yum yum yum. still on the little plate regime though... I wonder if i can fill it with cake...

His cake looked a bit of a mess, but tasted great! 17.5 syns per slice (cut into 10) mine was a slightly bigger so I'm counting 20. Plus 2 marshmallows (too tempting) plus 3 for a little crackling, plus 0.5 for a dash of milk.

Hea: cheese, not had yet
Heb: wholemeal roll, not had yet

B: pear, banana, Orange, yogurt. shared with Nate.
S: Apple
L: pork, cauliflower, carrots, cabbage, potatoes, crackling (3)
Cake plus tea plus extra mashmallow (22.5)

Oh I was pretty pleased with it synwise. There was no butter in the cake or frosting and i made half the amount specified in the recipe which was plenty enough. On 48 with 2 days left so I'm pretty pleased. I have a couple in the evening meals planned for the next couple of days. I am just devistated that my weight has barely shifted in 2 months that I am just cutting back again. So frustrated. I am using smaller plates too. I'm not having Nates birthday being used as a reason for not losing again.
