Hello everyone!
I am fairly new to the forums, I have been reading peoples posts here for the past month and finally decided to join myself.
I have struggled with my weight for the past 8 years. In 2012 I finally decided to join my local Slimming World and lost 5 and a 1/2 stone, I never felt better. It all went out the window when I met my husband, and the weight finally crept back on. Now I am back to my original weight with an extra stone on top of it :sigh: We really want to start TTC, but I have PCOS and my cycles are non existent anymore. My doctor suggests I lose some weight and thinks they will come back, and also it will be better for me to be pregnant if I am not as heavy. I have lost 11lbs in a month, which I am fairly happy with, I haven't done anything special apart from trying to eat better, cutting out all the junk food and full sugar cola. I am starting to take 45 minute walks a day now the weather is much better, my biggest problem has been lack of exercise. I moved away to live with my husband, and since then I really struggled with getting exercise. I am going to sign up for the gym this week, next week at the latest. I am waiting for my ID card to come through in the post then I will be able to sign up for the gym. I actually got a voucher in the post a few weeks ago, for 4 weeks free gym membership and no start up fee so I have no excuse not to use them, especially when the gym is a 2 minute walk from me.
I am going to weigh myself every Monday. I asked my hubby to hide the scales from me as I am constantly standing on them daily and it ruins my whole day if I haven't lost anything. I was driving myself crazy by doing that. I am going to take it half a stone at a time, and I will lose 5 1/2 stone for good this time. xx
