I forgot how hard

    Im having a bad day today, jusy made the family roast dinner and put one out for sons girlfriend, and guess what she didnt show, so there is a massive roast dinner now in the oven taunting me. Im fully in ketosis so why Is my tum going mad for food. Just made a huge mug of green tea and trying my best to see the bright side but Im well down in the dumps today xx I will not let it get the better of me !!!:cry:

    Hang in there hun, there will be other roasts, one mouthful will bring on more guilt than it's worth.. this is emotional hunger not physical.

    Its okay lola. We have all had days like that!! I took myself of to bed with the raving hump....i woke up in the morning feeling sooo much better.

    Also let it go cold! Its not as nice cold or re-heated so you might crave it less!!

    I swear by the tip in the LL foundation book about squirting leftovers with washing up liquid!

    My OH sometimes tips his leftovers in the bin and I am hot on his heels with the Fairy Liquid, slapping it on top of the food. :p
    That way, it can't call to me and I am back in control.

    The other advice I would give is stop imagining those meals. Stop thinking about "what if I ate it" or " I have to have it."

    Try and place positive thoughts in your head ~ think about clothes you want to buy....look at clothes on the net or in catalogues or buy trashy magazines where the beautiful dresses on celebs inspire you to go on.

    Sitting around doesn't help me ~ there are always things to do, even at home. Water the plants, clean the bath, do the ironing in front of the TV,light some candles, flick through shopping catalogues such as Argos or Habitat...things for the home, not for your mouth. Good luck. :)
