I finally reached it that elusive stone off...after false starts, sweat...tears and plenty of saying no to myself.

I got my sticker at slimming world today and i'm sad to say it made it all worth it!! I couldn't stay for the meeting and really missed hearing how everyone got on.

I think i've come to the realisation that it's spending that little bit of the week accepting that you aren't the only one struggling or trying to for new habits that helps you to reach your targets.

A few things I learnt this week from SW meeting:-

Set a realistic target
try a new recipe - The beef stew with lots of veggies is awesome
keep count of your syns and use them!!!
exercise, even if it's just for 30 minutes it does make a difference!!

AWW thanks!!! can't wait for that!....i'll have got 10% off my body weight, which is what my main target is at the moment.

Wooohooo massive congrats..remember how good it feels right now to have that first stone off...and now keep at it, and on to stone number 2!!!!..you are so going to do this! :)

Exercise wise to start with I swam alot at a friends then since coming home I bought a exercise bike and some weights. And do a bit of walking as well, not done any exercise bike for 3 week tho as my knee is bad at the min but getting a fait bit of walking in at the hospital everyday visiting me Mum.

I really think i should start swimming, i did on holiday this summer but the hard part is my lack of stamina, i can do about 10 lengths and i'm knackered! May try water arobics instead...hope your mum gets better!

Yeah I'm seriously thinking about starting swimming up again, love it and it's so good for you.
