i have to be honest!

on thursday i decided i was giving up lipotrim, i was feeling down and all i wanted was junk food:break_diet:! i had not told anyone this and was eating:break_diet: crap behind ppls backs. it got so bad that on saturday i told my bf that i had thought about this and decided that i am coming off lipotrim. So for tea that night i got a kebab!! why i did this i dont no but it was not nice! and i only ate a quarter of it cos i felt full and sick and more importantly mad and ashamed at myself for doing it! My bf told me not to make a decision about the diet untill today. So i got up this morning and just drank water untill i could decide on what i wanted to do. Well i made a decision at 3pm this afternoon. I DO WANT TO STAY ON LIPOTRIM! And i also found out why i wanted rubbish and why i was moody... totm! Well i have to go to get weighed tomorrow and im expecting a gain. my scales and the chemist scales are the same and when i stood on mine this morning i had gained about 5-6lb:cry:But i only have myself to blame. I really want to do this and the junk food craving Will come every month (they always do)

Just forget the blip and move on. You're only human, we make mistakes. Just focus on what you want ie. weightloss and that will taste better than any old dodgy kebab!

Good for you for getting back on track, it is hard - but you have done so well so far, you know you can carry on once your mind is set on it.

one thing i have picked up on lately, is to work out why you wanted the kebab, i know its totm, and i get crazy cravings too, but between the craving and the cheating something happens that makes us eat. if we can crack this, then we have cracked the code to weight loss!

ps, if you figure it out can you tell the rest of us? ;)

thanks for that liberty girl. Cos of totm i was feeling sorry for myself and wanted junk and a take away menu had just been posted through the door earlier on in the day. I looked at it and the next thing, i picked up the phone and ordered! Before i started lipotrim and i got like this i went for crisp and chocolate. I really dont no why i chose a kebab, im not that keen on the meat.

aww, hun...just have to move on...you know you want to continue with LT...so go for it girl...just remember, we are all here for you...whatever the reason for the blip...you can continue this!!! Good luck with getting back on track.

yeah i do want to do this! im going to bust my ass to lose the rest!!! Im staying on lipotrim till end of feb maybe mid march and if i have any weight left to lose i will do it at either slimming world or weight watchers.

Charlene, look at the positive, you have at least worked out why you succumbed to the crap and can make sure that next month you are prepared for it. LT is a learning curve for all of us and as long as you have learnt why you had your blip you can get back on the wagon and get on with it. Write down how you feel today and how you felt at the time and read it again next month to remind yourself. I also started in the morbidly obese category and it has been a long journey but I know that at the end of it I will have some vital insight into why I was such a chocoholic/foodaholic in the first place and will use food as a fuel and not a reward in the future.

Hi charlene-wilson,

The 5 to 6lb you say the scales is up is most likely due to totm and glycogen and you will have that off in the next couple of days no problem.

Sometimes it takes a blip to help us see clearly what it is we really want for ourselves.

Well done for getting back on the wagon and well done to your boyfriend as well for being so understanding and supportive!

You are very lucky.:)

Welcome back hun, even if we didn't know you had been away. You will be fine, it will only take a few days to knock the weight gained back off again.

Just try really hard not to let this become a pattern, if you can get back on track now, by being really strict for next few days there won't be any damage done longer term.

By the way your boyfriend sounds lovely so hugs to him. TOTM is a real tricky one so as others have said you will need to have some strategies up your sleeve for next month x

Charlene dont be so hard on yourself, you had a blip put behind you and start again.
we are all here to support you so use us i'm sure theres always someone logged on at some point during the day, come on here have a rant get it of your system refocus you can and will do this.

thanks to everyone for your kind replies. i went to the chemist to for weigh in and was surprised at how i was still the same weight as i was last week. I said i cant take that reading cos both our scales have give acurate reading for ten weeks. I think they are broken cos she picked them up befor putting them on the floor and something rattled inside them. She marked me down on my chart as staying the same so i will see what happens next week. As the lady has done i will just mark it on my tracker as stayed the same. I dont really comment much on others post but I no i can rely on you guys if i need to get something off my chest. thanks everyone x

Hiya hun, Sorry to hear off your blip but better to move on and get back on track, at least ya found the reason that was behind it. If it helps keep a diary of times like that when ya are feeling down or upset, once ya find the route of the problem ya will be able to fight it off in the future.
