Thanks. I have had a particularly busy day and am behind on my water. I'll test again once I'm properly rehydrated. I usually manage at least 4 litres a day.

If your next K test comes out negative then don't worry, you haven't knocked yourself out, its cos you have diluted the ketones down i.e drunk enough water to flush them out!
No we are not meant to be very purple, we should only be light pink. But when we don't drink enough water, we have more ketones, and it is not good (or so I understood )
Take a little advice on the water, ladies...
Gradually increase by 1/4 to half a litre a day. Don;t suddenly flood your body with water, get accustomed to it first.
