Just back from holiday in Ireland, and going back through here I realised its ages since I last posted - missed a few runs from before I went away as well as a couple since.

Anyway since I last posted (I love Running app and fitness community | RunKeeper for keeping track of all this)

4.56 miles on Aug 21 (my only run while I was on holiday)
5.19 miles on Aug 27
11.06 miles yesterday - my longest yet!! That's my last long run till my half marathon on Sep 11

Have a sore knee though, it's been bothering me for the last couple of weeks off and on :cry: Has anyone any tips for avoiding it/ easing the soreness? Really don't want it to hold me back :(

PC - my knee only hurts when I'm not running bizarrely, do don't think I can be of much help.

4 miles this morning. But my knee is really playing up :cry: I gave it two days rest and rubbed some anti-inflammatory gel that I had into it, but it's still niggly. :sigh:

Well I am wayyyy behind you lot! Back to school today and I ended the summer by being cycling mad. Managed a very hilly 20 miles which I was dead pleased with. No running though! Lol

Keep up the great work. Sounds like you need a thread called running 500 miles!!
