I feel a knee injury coming on... I'm gonna try to finish C25K week 5 and then I may need to take a week off - :mad:! I just want to keep going!
 
I'm so cross. I haven't given up, but I just haven't had the chance to run, and prob won't now till Fri am, which will be 12 days! Eek. I will try so hard to get it in then though, just worried that if its raining I won't be able to go as will need to drag the bairn out with me. And it seems a little cruel to make him go out in the rain too. Or maybe I'm just being over precious about it? It's all these bank holidays and camping trips I've been doing; they've left me with no time or opportunity. :-(

I'm still here, just really not getting the chance to get out at the mo. Hoping to drag the sprog out with me on Friday am before we go away for the weekend. Also hoping I can get someone to look after him for me one day over the weekend whilst I go for a run. I'm actually really missing it. Although I seem to have strained something in my left calf, so perhaps the rest is not such a bad thing. Just thought I'd pop my head in though and say well done all, and let you know I've not abandoned you xx

Well, as I have said on the C25k pages, my knees simply will not allow longer runs - I shall focus on cycling, but keep chip chipping away at the 100 miles!

Sorry about your knees WG.

You could include your cycling miles and look at this as "I shall propel myself 100 miles via my own manual energy" (or something like that)

But if I did that, after my 40 mile bike ride, plus cyling to work (about 7 miles round trip daily) I'd be finished by now.
 
Hi Mandy! Yeah and if you were finished by now you would be waiting in the pub a long time for the rest of us to hobble in :)
I did consider it but that's not fair because running is much more difficult. I shall just chip away at it a mile or 2 at a time and make sure no one gets left behind! Lol
