I slipped up....

I have always been an emotional eater, when I am down or upset for any reason, I have always turned to food. In the past its always been chocolate and LOTS of it, family sized bars have been easy for me to eat.

Got wound up today (family stuff....) then ate a breakfast bowl of (unmeasured) pasta, with about a rasher of fat removed, dry fried bacon and a tbsp of Philly extra-light. (My 11 year old daughter had made her version of carbonara and I ate some of the leftovers.) It was low fat, but it was not on the plan and I have no idea how many calories. We are going out on Saturday with my Godson for his 18th & I was saving my treats for dinner with him.

Why do I do these things? I am such a numpty.

Its behind me now, & I will not fail this diet. I am loving it, the portion control and the low fat are great. Its me that wrong....but I will carry on.

i know how you feel, i do the same with the choccie, and i wish i had some now big time,

can you not weight out the amount you had in dry weight and try and go from there.
the pasta has to be the better choice than the chocolate any day i think

Oh, i can sympathise with you, i eat before i think and then regret it.

But you have the right attitude, put it behind you and dont give up.

Good luck

I can sympathise too ... even now when i get upset I want food. But look at it this way, you chose the low fat options when you could have gone the other way. So dont be down...onwards and upwards to a brighter and slimmer future.
