Hi to every one

I'm hoping to start CD this week just need to fing a CDC. Having seen my pal lose 3 stone and look fab,she has totally inspired me. But I'm so scared of failing.
CD seems quite daunting but I've asked my lovely man for support so that will be a help I guess.
Any help and stuff would be very welcome. You all seem such a lovely bunch I thought I'd join you all.:wavey:

Hi there and welcome to Minimins

Youve posted this in the Weight Watchers forum, I take it you meant to post in the CD one? :)

Hiya NowI'm30!! I'm on day 8 today, I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 8lb this week!! It does work!

It's not as hard as I expected, I was really apprehensive about whether I'd feel hungry all the time, but I haven't!!

Good luck, looking forward to hearing how you're getting on!

Hiya. I'm on day 5 of CD doing SS and I'm not going to say it has been easy but if you take one day at a time then it does get easier. I really felt like eating on day 2 cos I felt so crap but here I am on day 5 and I'm feeling much better. Very positive in fact. it helps that my husband is doing it with me even though he's only got a couple of stone to lose. Think he realises how hard it is to be on a diet!!!

Stick with it, honestly it gets so much better and then when you start seeing the results on the scales it will make it worth it. :D

Hiya Kate - this is the easiest (if you stick to it and don't come off it) and hardest (if you want to socialise or come off it - to get back on track) diet i have ever done. Take a look at the gallery and see the weight loss photos and read some of the diaries on here which are so inspiring. Also come and post - good or bad and we'll support and help you as much as we can.
Good luck!

HI there,
When are you starting the CD?
I am meeting my CDC tonight and must admit I am a wee bit scared about giving up my lovely food.
peachy

Hi all new starters,I know it is scary, but you are making the best decision in your life, and I tell you 10 weeks down the line you will be wishing you found this diet years ago!! It is hard at first until you are in ketosis (no longer hungry) but take it one step at a time, one day at a time. Find things to do when you feel hungry (non edible ones) just don't give in thinking this won't affect me!!.. have the determination and willpower and you will get to goal in no time. Don't forget to take photo's & measurements, as we like to see your progress and it is great motivation. I was the same as you, I love my food, but this diet gets you to think about why you are eating is it comfort, boredom etc, and this should help you going forward... This is an excellent site for support and a shoulder to cry on if you need it or need help or to celebrate success we are all here for you, and the more you post the more addicted you get, and then you start helping other people. Sorry for going on, but one of my tips is don't compare yourself to other people, I did and it is not good, thinking that half a pound in a week was bad, but when I look back it is a cycle with me... drink loads of water 4.5 - 5.5 litres, water is the key to this diet and try and space it out throughout the day (not too close to bedtime!)..Good luck with your journeys... Love
