Paula are you sure about CD 2 weeks BEFORE the surgery. Apparantly you should come OFF CD 2 weeks before surgery. You might want to double check that...

You should not be doing SS and go straight into an operation, when I checked with head office around this they recommended coming up the programmes 2 weeks before any general anaesthetic and obviously no Cambridge for 3 months after any operation (I realise that with a band this is not going to happen anyway).

Therefore if you are doing Cambridge then just make sure your GP is involved and also let your counsellor know. Your GP might recommend a couple of weeks on Cambridge and move up.

Ask you counsellor for the Info for Doctors booklet and pop and see your GP for his/her advice.

I was advised to go on optifast,which as far as i know is like cd.Then reason i have to diet 2 weeks before is to shrink the liver so the surgeon can get the band around.Apparantly if i dont diet and they cant get the band around i wont be able to have keyhole and they will av to make an incisionxx

thanks guys,yeah im ok bout it all getting really excited.I broke down in tears today to my daughters teacher.She is getting picked on about her weight.It makes me so sad and angry and brings back alot of bad memories.Why are kids so cruelxx

How is your daughter hun? I was always a skinny minny through school and was never picked on so I really can't inagine how she must feel but I do know that if anyone picked on any of my kids I would be like a cull in a china shop! Go and see the bullies parents hun - you may get better reults there - if you are not satisfied with the schools results.
