Just been shopping and got my first week of Atkins supplies :D

Lots of chicken, lamb, peperoni, califlower and veggies (not potatoes)

Also had 2 chicken legs for lunch..

Does any one have any thoughts on chicken with a coating? Like morissons does a hot n spicy and cajun chicken in the fresh cooked bit. As far as I can tell it is just herbs they sprinkle on. Do you think they are ok for Atkins or should I avoid them?

Also, roasted parsnips. yay or nay?

Hi Leah. ask them what they put on it. sometimes they might add sugar or flour.
roasted parsnips nay too carby for induction. what veg did you get? lots of green leafies i hope ;)

Ahh... Wish I had done some better searching before! I got carrot and swede (for mash) and califlower for mashing.

Hrm, not a great start lol! I'll feed it to the OH and try again tomorrow!

Can you suggest anything I can put with chicken or lamb that's not salad?

cauli is fine. yes carrots and swede very carby i think.
spinach, cabbage, broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms..... kale is lovely fried in butter.
