inspiration for first week

Ok so I've done the plan, got do far, given up, restarted......repeat about 6 times.

HOWEVER something is eating at me this time (prob the 6 stone i need to lose) so im rejoining on Monday, new group, new start, new me!

I am though sadly lacking in the inspiring meals dept. So any ideas for a shopping list and meal plan for my first week would be extremely welcome.

Ditto!

Basics like fresh fruit/veg, meat, eggs, pasta, tinned tomatoes.
Fat free yogurts, cottage cheese, low fat cheese/triangles, quick snack ideas like mug shots, savoury rice, low syn treats (i have a chomp/options hot choc most days)

Most importantly, don't think of it as another attempt; think of it as your LAST attempt x

Inspirational photos are a big motivator!

As for a meal plan, I just had my first week and I tried out lots of different meals. I always think with this plan variety is the key. This week I had beef stroganoff twice, canneloni, mushroom risotto, macaroni cheese, pork stew and a scallop & pea risotto. Maybe you can get some ideas from that! Check out the recipe section too!

Pickle gave some good shopping list items! I'd stock up on basics such as bovril, herbs and spices, dried pastas, fry light, cold meat, salad stuff and extra light mayo & margarine.
