Is anyone starting Cambridge January 2014? Lets support each other!

Yeah I'm the same, didn't cheat once this time (apart from a weekend I had to have off as had 2 sts weeks)!!!! Once I'm in the zone I'm fine. You sound a bit like me :)
I'm driving my nieces back up to Nottingham, they've been down for the Easter holidays!!! Then coming back to watch the football!! I'm a massive Liverpool fan :)
Don't blame you not doing much, I didn't for the first like 6 weeks!!! X

Yeah I love that zone ha! Aww bet that was lovely but a food challenge too! Is watching football one your food weakness times? Mine are long drives and cinema for pointless snacking.

I just think its such an emotionally challenging plan anyway, I don't see the sense in exposing myself to any situation where I could be weak, though as the weeks go on there are fewer of those!
 
yes exactly, i know what situations i am going to be weak in but i often get emotionally blackmailed into them by my husband, he was very supportive at first but now he is getting fed up of it. today he guilted me into sunday lunch at his families, and while i was fine for the lunch later on i just lost it and ate some pastries and a couple of cookies and a teeny bit of easter egg.
 
Cambridge is the best diet I've done I think. I'm more hungry on ww and I'm cheating more too. I'm drawing a line under the last week because I've been really bad, scoffed my chocolate and most of hubbys too. I'll start again Tuesday but won't get weighed because I don't want to know. Wish I could do Cambridge again to lose last stone but I can't do that while at work

Oh katsparkle! You can't eat to make other people happy and I think you're realising that! It does inevitably annoy people when you can't eat out or socialise or whatever, but do you know what? F*** them, because their annoyance is far outweighed by the pain of being overweight and unable to get it under control.

Make yourself happy first. A lot of us get fat because we've been pushing down our feelings to please others our whole lives, and we have to choose for ourselves not to do it anymore, cause no one else will do it for us!

If you were fine at lunch that shows you do have self control. The eating later is smothering all that anger and resentment at the emotional blackmail. You need to tell your husband that's not OK! It's time he puts your happiness first. He'll be OK with that because he loves you!

Never underestimate the crazy thoughts that go through the minds of men when their partners lose weight. They worry you'll be so slim and even more gorgeous and attract so much new attention they'll seem old and boring by comparison. Reassure him you adore him and that this is for both of you, because a happy you makes a happier both.

If you really feel he's sabotaging you, ask him to be your cheerleader instead! If it needs a bribe so be it ;)

I know he's concerned about me losing weight because me being hot is a FACT lol. Got weighed and lost 4lbs so I'm motivated again, going to start getting weighed Fridays instead see if that helps
 
Ha love it! That's great, sounds like a good plan if that keeps you motivated. You're so close to goal now, probably done in three weeks the way you're losing! Hope the great loss gets you back on track.
 
Morning all, or rather afternoon lol. Love being off work :) Hows everyone doing? I'm ok, have the ketosis flu as I call it lol. Just getting my hair dyed, the joys of getting older and grey lol.

Ohh Liz that's such a great/horrible feeling! Feels like death but so nice to know what you're doing is working. Still strong this end, every day down is a day less to go!
 
Yeah tired, cold and feeling crappy but made better by the fact I'm off work!!!! Dying to weigh myself but know I will still be over what I was at last weigh in before I had my break so keeping off the scales until Saturday. I know I put on at least 6lb reckon it was more 8-10lb as stopped weighing myself. will just be happy to lose that by Saturday.
Jo - how did you feel not having an Easter egg? I was ok about it really.

Well I wouldn't normally have an Easter egg for Easter itself as me and the bf don't buy them for each other and we don't have kids. What I'd normally do is buy a giant one for myself like 3 times a week in the month leading up to Easter and eat the whole thing in one go and feel disgusting, so feeling liberated! I do LOVE Easter egg chocolate though, just don't love being a disgraceful binge eater!

The satisfaction I get sticking to this is far more than any food could give me.

I know, great everyone is so supportive of one another.
 
Yeah I was the same, would buy one and eat it straight away. Would never last until Easter Sunday lol. Nothing tastes as good as skinny does!!!!

Its such a horrible feeling being hot and sweaty in the summer but not being able to take off a cardi due to feeling you've got fat arms, and a fat tummy! Looking forward to getting back into tight vest tops!
 
Yeah its been OK, not hungry but feel restless and a bit bored and normally a binge would fix that! Feel very exposed emotionally when on this plan. Just power through it, because as you know, that hunger will go! I'll be kind of glad to get back to work and into a routine. Have you stuck 100%?
 
I know what you mean, first few weeks I felt a bit down but as the weight started to go down and I could feel it that made me feel a lot better!!!

Yes 100%! I'm getting to that stage where 100% is so much more appealing than any food. Are you looking forward to weigh in?!
