JackieN's simply food diary - Mainly red but odd, green/EE

I am not a huge lover of mugshots but quite like the sweet and sour one with chips and I like the chicken one. There are other flavours but i've never tried them. I usually keep a couple in the cupboard as they are quick

Do you use sweetner to make your meringues? Its hard as I try to avoid sweetners where possible hence having to syn them all the time :( xxxxx


Yes, I use sweetners it takes longer to whisk them and to get them to set, but I only make little batches. x
 
Friday

Green day today as need my fix of Sw chips again :8855: I have had a sinusey headache all day and feel rough so basic boring food today

Breakfast - 2 weetabix (b1) milk (A1) 1/2 syn sugar, bananna

Lunch - 4 rivita (B2) philly light (A2) 2 boiled eggs, packet quavers (4.5 syns)

snack - 2 alpen lights (6) syns


tea - plate sw wedges, beans, curry sauce (1.5 syns)




total syns 12.5
 
Saturday

was going to be a red day but changed to EE

breakfast oatsosimpleplain (HEXB) milk (HEXA) handful of blueberries

lunch, large salad, pastrami, boiled egg, potatoe, cheese (6 syns) pickle (1syn)
mid afternoon snack - bananna, 0% yoghurt 1 syn options mixed in, alpen light (4 syns)

tea - will be beefcurry and rice made with tonnes of veggies :)


ate the curry but left most of the beef so really had veggie curry :8855: would not use beef in curry again, just wasn't for me. Good job I only had one syns worth!

lunch - jacket potato, cheese (6 syns) pickle (1 syn) salad


tea - homemade fishcakes, sweet potato and celeriac chips, peas

pudding - meringue 2.5 syns, 0% yog mixed with options (2 syns) strawberries

desert - meringue nest (2.5 syns) large quantity of mixed berries, dollop of 0% yoghurt with options (1 syn)

I shall let you into a secret I didn't know what they were either :8855: I had to ask.

On a red day they are a fab potato substitute I cut into chunks and bake like roasties and eat with meat and veg. tricks my brain into thinking I have had potato :rolleyes:
 
green day as need carbs :8855: and want egg and chips for tea :D


brekkie - oatso simple (b1) milk (A1) golden syrup (1 syn) handful summer berries

lunch - batchelors mild curry rice, 2 boiled eggs chopped into it

snack - 4 rivita (B2) philly light (A2)

tea - egg, sw chips, baked beans

mmm can't remember now probably tesco... I think you can make them with egg whites and sweetner and then they are syn free :D Its a lovely desert and feels so naughty and so low synned. I usually only have one meringue but as I'd not had syns today I decided to really enjoy it :D xxxxxxxx

Well a good week 2.5lb off and it was star week, and I am now under 16 stone :bliss:

Today is an EE day so I can relax abit

Breakfast - oatsosimple (B1) milk (A1) 1 syn golden syrup, berries

lunch - sw quiche, jacket potato (2syns of philly light) salad, boiled egg, grapes, apple

snacks - bananna

tea - chilli (1/2 syn) sw chips with skins on, tiny bit of grated cheese (3 syns)

2 alpen lights (6 syns)


total syns today = 12.5
