Jay's journey back to target

    Happy New Year to myself and anyone who may read :D

    Another attempt at keeping a food diary and I hope it works for me this time. The weight has crept on steadily over the last year and I'm now a stone over my target :sigh:

    Reasons for not giving up and getting back to target -
    I feel crappy
    My jeans don't fit
    I burst out of my bras :mad:
    I have a spare tyre again
    I don't feel self confident
    I feel a bit of a failure

    So after a half hearted week (resulting in a pound off) I'm now going for it.

    Wednesday 5th - Green

    Breakfast - blueberries, banana and FF yoghurt

    Lunch - home made parsnip soup with 2 slices WW bread (B). Soup wasn't very nice so I had a mugshot.
    Punnet of cherries

    Dinner - mixed bean chilli with rice and loads of rocket

    Supper - 4 ryvita (B) with cheese (A) and tomatoes

    Syns - 56g piece Christmas cake (it's not much!!) 10 syns

    This could be me, it sums me up perfectly at the moment, apart from the bra bit, I never burst out of mine :( ;)

    I'm going to class tonight for the first time in a year, and hoping to be as good as I was when I started the first time! New Year New Me etc etc

    Good Luck, there seems to be a lot of support on here so it's a good place to be!

    One good day under my belt. Onwards to the next one. Felt a bit hungry last night, shouldn't have done but I had my supper and a cuppa. Couldn't have a hot chocolate as I'd used 10 syns on cake (eek!).

    Thursday 6th Extra Easy

    Breakfast - 2 "fried" eggs, mushrooms (almost a punnet) and baked beans

    Lunch - smoked salmon salad with a squeeze of lemon. 2 satsumas, banana

    Dinner - tuna past bake (tuna, peppers, onion, grated carrot, pasta and tinned tomatoes) topped with 28g cheese (6 syns). Rocket.

    A - milk
    B - 4 ryvita (with cottage cheese and tomatoes - for supper)

    Syns - cheese (6) Hot chocolate (2)

    Feeling a bit lighter already and a lot less bloated.

    Friday 7th Extra Easy

    Breakfast - banana and an orange/choc mullerlight

    Lunch - smoked salmon salad with new potatoes. 3 satsumas

    Dinner - spaghetti with crab, chilli and lime with a big rocket salad

    A - milk
    B - supper (tbc)

    Syns tbc

    I most likely will have cheese and ryvita for supper so 6 syns for the cheese
