Off to fill in food diary so i can plan what to have for dinner.

Catch up later x

Happy Holidays, Joanne. Enjoy them

Really impressed with your running and under 10 minute miles is really good! What are you aiming to do?

Congratulations on the size 12's - if you still have 20lbs to go (as your ticker says) you will be tiny size 0 at the end!!! xx

My size 12's are still way too tight so Im very envious! Well done you though hun you must feel great :)

Hope you enjoyed your run x

Well what a great day I had yesterday :D

Firstly had decided to change my wi from a mon to sat and managed to lose 3lbs this week!!!!! Was over the moon!

So we decided that we would have a cinema fest day. Monster vs aliens, pizza then The Boat That Rocked. Saw the first film and got tickets for the second. Before we went for pizza we popped in to the bookies and put a couple of bets on for the grand national. Headed off to the sports bar to watch the race. I really wasn't paying that much attention until the last fence when i realised that my horse was going to win!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't believe it, people in the pub must have thought i was a nutter! 100/1  with £1 each way stake. So we literally skipped off to collect the winnings. Left the bookies with £127 in hand. What a lovely feeling :D

We then decided at that point to forget the second film and just have a jolly good night out, which is exactly what we did!! However the down side is that ive probably blown my points!! I was okay food wise but definately fell off the alcohol wagon and had WAY too many vodkas. Hey ho tho, a good day was had by all. Finished the night with a few hours in the casino. What great fun. We both decided we would only spend £10 each. Spent most of my time at blackjack, and my £10 lasted ages. Felt like a celeb in the casino, with me being a grand national winner and all :D:D LOL

phew! after all that my head is now even more delicate, typing with a hangover is quite hard going. Off to nosey and find out what other people have been doing over the weekend

Hi Rosie, the plan is to run the 10k in under an hour think its 6.3 miles but to be honest i really don't think im going to be able to do it! We ran on fri night really comfortably i felt and managed 5.4 miles in 57 minutes. I'm not sure what i should be doing to help with speeding up my pace?? Any ideas??

Congratulations on the size 12's - if you still have 20lbs to go (as your ticker says) you will be tiny size 0 at the end!!! xx

Yeh im starting to think i might change my target weight? Not sure if i should lose another stone and a half, will see how i go. I'm definately not going to be silly about it and reach i weight i can't maintain!

My size 12's are still way too tight so Im very envious! Well done you though hun you must feel great :)

Hope you enjoyed your run x

Run was great, much more successful than mondays effort anyway!

Well done on size 12 :D xx

Thanks x

Well at least you are getting out and doing it I haven't been out in over a week now and can feel the motivation slipping away with every non running day that passes.....!

Sounds like a wicked weekend. Congrats on the fab 3ibs. Hope your head feels better now :O)

Wey hey Joanne!! 3lbs - brill, fab!!! There's no stopping ya!!:D

Don't worry about your night off - I think you deserve it and it'll not do any harm!! I mean you had to celebrate your win some way, didn't you!!:) We had a sweepstake at work but needless to say i didn't win:sigh:.

Re your running - 57 mins is impressive - I don't think i'll ever jog faster than an 11 minute mile - It's all in my head but i just don't have the mental stamina but i'm not intending to run a marathon so it doesn't really matter how fast or slow - just as long as i do it:p

Am sure you're glad you're off work for a while. Easter is not holiday time for the police over here so it's just things as normal for me for the next 2 weeks:cry:

Must go and write up my food diary. Catch ya later;)

Hi there - well done you for picking the national winner ) bet you was made up! And don't worry bout your celebrating - it had to be done xxx

well done honey! What a great way to start the holidays!! :D What casino do you go to?

Thought I'd pop by and say Hi, how's it going this week xx

Hi all

Thanks for your kind words, they really do help!! Well ive recovered from weekend and feeling pretty good this week. Really enjoying this no work lark, could get used to it ha!
Well decided yesterday to go and give blood. This was my third attempt at giving blood. The previous twice ive been my veins have collapsed and the've had to stop. Was told last time that if it happened again i would need to forget the idea of giving blood (this really upset me as my dad regularly has to have blood transfusions!) Anyhoo off i popped with everything crossed that my weak little veins would hold out. Pleased to report that said veins were super stars and held out. Was so chuffed with myself!! While i was there a did see a man turn the greenest colour i have ever seen anyone turn. Poor thing, was weeched off to the nearest bed with legs flung upright, enough to put anyone off!!!

Started today with a visit to the gym, went to body combat class, hard work but felt good. On the way out sports centre randomly walked into my cousin and her gorgeous boys aged 5 and 4 who were at gymnastics. Lovely surprise! Looking after my boys 2moro infact for the day. Think we'll be taking a trip to the pics tho..weather is pants here in Glasgow this week!!

The rest of 2day was spent taking my bfs mum out for lunch (chinese eek!) but was smaller lunch time menu so think ive managed to stay on track points wise!

I've a run planned for 2moro morn. Meeting my running buddy at 7am for a wee run round park. Must be mad! My boys are arriving at half 8 for a day of chaos!!

Hope everyone is having a good week and managing to stay on track!

Well managed to drag myself outta bed this morning at 6am  was not amused at myself!!! Met up with running friend at 7am only to find it was absolutely pouring with rain!!!! However after dragging myself up so early there was no way i was going home. So off we set, just a short run 2.5 miles, saving a bigger run for the weekend.

Home and showered just in time for the arrival of cousins little ones. Needless to say ive had an exhausting day!! Went to the pictures this afternoon to see the monsters vs aliens (even tho id seen it on sat!) They had a ball!! I most definately used ALL my will power this morn staying out for a run because my eating has not been the best. I've come to the conclusion that if i had children i would be a million stone!! Found myself picking at their leftovers, whats that all about!!!!
So on top of my lunch i had half of each of their rolls??? with full fat fillings!!!! (don't know what i was thinking!!!)

Tea tonight then is cauliflower and cheese soup, made yesterday and melba toast and that is it!!! No sneaky treats. I fear sats wi is not going to be good!

x

Hiya Joanne, love your new avatar pici, you look a right diva!!
Glad you had a good time with the boys,im quite lucky cos DS never leaves any food and he is skinny too...
Not so good on the eating their leftovers though but you will pull it back with having soup and no snacks tonight...well done you.

Chilli+bns chips for me-hmm another hot tea!!xx

Sounds like you've had a good day. Can't wait til my little one is slightly older so I can take him to the cinema! And it is really hard not to finish his food but he has a healthy appetite, thank godness!

I'm sure with the running you've been doing it will all balance out and your'll have another great loss. Good luck for sat, I've got my fingers crossed for the two of us xx

Hiya hun

Your day sounds fun packed (apart from the 6am start and running in the rain..lol) I shouldn't worry about eating the boys leftovers you've earned them with your run and you had cauli soup for tea to which should counter act any points u were over. Good luck with rest of your week til WI xxx
