Ketosis - what's the big deal?

OK, so I'm doing this diet on weekdays only... I've tried so hard, but I can't give up my weekends!

So, by the time Wednesday night hits, I am in ketosis, and stay in for thurs and fri... do you burn more calories while in ketosis? or the same amount as you would when leading up to ketosis - is the only difference that you're burning glycogen, than fat store? :sigh:
