Kirsty's pregnancy and new Mummy diary- from 30 weeks onwards!

Oh bless him. It's horrible isn't it. Hope he sleeps it off tonight x
Awful and he's so tired, he's fighting sleep... We put him to bed at 6:30 tonight cos he fall asleep in my arms but he slept for half hour and we then spent a good hour or so settling him again.
He was really crying so we did all the checks (nappy, wind, dummy) and still no so out came the Calpol... He finally fell asleep just after 8 and so far so good!
He's started to sleep on his tummy now too!!
Fingers crossed both Oliver's have a good night xx

Thankfully he did have a good night- slept from 8-7 with no wake ups, he's back to his normal routine today and less grumpy.
Plus he's had a good nap this morning in his car seat as we did the food shopping x

Yeh it's been almost a week now, fingers crossed it stays like that for a long time! X

Somehow I managed to lose 3.5lbs this week!!!!

Well done :) that's a great loss x

Thanks all :)
It's given me my motivation back, I want my 2 stone award by my birthday!!
Which means- 9lbs and 5 WI's to go! X

Off swimming today, actual lessons this time!
We should have gone last Friday but I forgot oops!
Looking forward to it, as Oliver is a bit of a water baby :)
It's at 2pm for half hour, which is grand as he has his nap at 3- perfect timing!

Last night, Oliver would only take 3oz of his bedtime bottle so I was fearing the worst but nope he still slept thorough til 7 this morning :)
Going to try altering his routine a little tonight- normally we do bath, then bottle and bed but he's a windy baby so even tho he often falls asleep on the bottle and we put him straight down, he'll sleep for half hour and then wake with terrible wind and it can take him ages to settle again... He's still sleeping through but want to make his bedtime calmer so tonight I'm going to do bottle first, then bath and bed as it gives him a chance to bring up any wind and time for the milk to settle... It might mean he's more awake when I put him to bed but hopefully he'll settle more calmly..
We'll see!
Actually I may read him a story after his bath, to see if that makes him sleepy... We want to make a bedtime story part of his routine :)
Oliver should be awake from his nap soon, then it'll be lunchtime bottle for him, and then pop to Sainsburys before swimming (it's on the same road!) to get some bits and have a nosey around their clothes... For Oliver of course :)
Have a good day everyone x

My Oliver did too :)
He was the only baby out of 5 that didn't cry!
He just looked around gawping at everything lol :)
And there was a little girl there who's a week older than Oliver and he's still bigger than her!!!

I went to Sainsurys to look for those Thomas t shirts you mentioned but the smallest size they had was 18-24 months :(
Gonna keep looking tho! X
