I am one of the 63336
Couldn't get the internet to work at all yesterday so OH had a try when he got home and also couldn't get it to work so he rung BT.
They had no record of us having the internet (our contract started 14th of this month). After hanging on for about 15 minutes the guy came back and said the contract had been cancelled 'for some reason that nobody could work out' so they would have to put in a new order which will take 5 working days.
We have a 12 months contract so we wouldn't be able to cancel so how on earth can they cancel it? And then tell us it will take 5 working days to get us back online???
I work for 63336, used to be called AQA, which involves answering questions people text in to 63336. One of our busiest times of the year is X Factor weekend but thanks to BT's original cockup we didn't get connected until the day AFTER X Factor finished.
Another busy day is New Years Eve, and again I'll be without the internet! I'll probably have to pay £5 for a days access via BT Fon but it's such a PITA and so bl***y wrong!!!
Moan over guys and gals xx
