Lea's Weight Loss Journey - Cannot believe WI today...

Just a quick post because i am at work....really busy....

BUT I AM LOWER THAN MY DH THIS MORNING! I have lost another half a pound (0.6oz) and the scale read 10 stone 1lb! Another 2 weeks and i should be at goal :) I am shocked to have lost anything this week to be honest but it is coming off ever so slowly but to be honest that is fine by me :D

I am pleased with that!

Thank you hun! The decorating still has not started!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad: The garage conversion is taking longer than planned although it should be done by the end of next week. As soon as it is done we lay the carpet and paint! Then move our 'office' across so that Cora's room is free and then we lay carpet and paint again!

We are supposed to be going out for an indian tonight. My usual dish is a tika masala. I am not sure I can have that really but i thought I might treat myself. I wil have to see how many points there are in one...aybe it's best i don't look lol :8855::8855:
 
awh go u being lighter than ur oh hunni....its such a big thing i think!! i was delighted when it happened to me!! lol

ah its valentines day.....enjoy it lol!! hope ye have a good nite...were hoping to head out as long as i can find a babysitter...worse thing bout having small kids!!

Thanks everyone.

I have not had a great week dietwise - Indian on saturday....wine etc. Sunday I had a chocolate bar...yesterday DH served up too big a portion of rissotto (i was so annoyed!) so ate too much without knowing until I saw the bowl on the side as to how much was not left in it lol. Today I feel bloated. I am not expecting any loss this week. I just feel heavy at the moment.

The ofice is coming along now. The door and window have been put in and they have started plastering the walls. It is starting to come together. Today they will be putting the glass in the door / windows, finishing the plastering connecting the electric. The need to put a floor in too but not sure if that will be done today or tomorrow. It's looking really good though and I can't wait for it to be done :D

Cora is ill again. Another horrible cold. Her voice has gone (or going) and she sounds all croaky. I was up with her for 2 nights poor thing. She was sick and her temperature was up over 100 degrees. She seems a little better now though which is good.

Work is still horrible and stressful. Nothing changed there but hoping after the next 2 days it will feel feel less so.

I HAVE to have a good few days before WI else I will be really upset with myself.

Next week I have decided that I will be pointing properly again....I will drop 5 points (breastfeeding has basically stopped so I think I am over eating!) Hence the 0.5lb losses etc. I have not been drinking anywhere near enough so that will change too. Next week WILL see me closer to 1 stone! I just need to limit the damage.

I hope everyone else has a good week.
 
I just realised - I will be on just 19 points! How will I cope????? Tips anyone? 24 is the lowest I have been on since I started....
 
I'm not looking forward to 19 points either! 21 is bad enough. Just remember you're really close to your goal and when you drop those points you'll reach it in no time then it's back up to 25 :)
 
points are really wierd arent they, when i started ww my allownace was 24 a day and i was going along fine, when i dropped into the next stone and dropped to 23 thats when i started to loose the plot and have struggled since, dont really know why ( any excuse eh?)
i think the best advice i can give and its fairly obvious would be to make full use of fruit and veg which fill you up for less points.

Dont know if you use ready meals but there are quite a few out there which are quite low points ww beef hotpot, ocean pie, tesco moussaka are all under 5 points and there are loads more

if you're still losing on 24, then you could probably lose more weight just by dropping 2 or 3, rather than dropping 5. Hope you enjoyed your indian anyway Lea :) i could really fancy one myself! xxx

Rach, you are right. I can aim for 19 a day but not worry too much if I eat say 21. I am going to find it tough as the last few weeks I have been eating a fair amount and still losing but I just want to shift the last 1.5lbs!

Well I have figured out why I am bloated....TOTM is arriving! grrrrr Makes sense!
 
Hi Lea,

I'm with Rach, just loose some of your points to the level where you are happy or you will only end up overeating. You are doing brillantly with all you are coping with. Taking it steady won't hurt you will still get there.

Hey Missy - I am on 20 and will be on 19 soon and to be honest I don't seem to find it too hard... just a case of eating loads of filling free foods and using the points for naughty stuff :)
 
Hi Lea, Glad things are starting to look up...Ive never been close to 19 points, so can only suggest lots of no point soups?!..Good luck for this weeks WI xx

I've been on 19 points this week and not found it too bad - like the other girls said you just have to find things that fill you up more. I.e. porridge for breakie - I find cracker bread a god send as its only half a point for 1 piece its nice with soup too instead of bread and keeps points down. So...u can have a decent pointed evening meal. Good luck hope your reach your goal x
 
Well, this time I sts. I am quite pleased really - I am bloated it's TOTM and I did not eat too well this week! I am now on 19 pts per day in the hope that this time next week I will reach goal :D
