    I have a question.........

In a morning i drink warm water with lemon/lime juice in it, now today i have been reading an article that says it can severly limit your weight loss as it prevents Ketones from working???????

I dont hae a clue what that is.

    should i stop drinking it?

Slim fast isn't really about on being in Ketosis it's about being calorie controlled in my opinion.

Ketosis is something that happens to your body when you are on a VLCD (very low calorie diet) that has limited carbs. Diets based on ketosis are ones like Lighter Life, Cambridge, Lipotrim and Atkins - although Atkins is not a VLCD the rule of Atkins is little or no carbs which causes Ketosis.

So don't worry about your lemon/lime drink if Slim Fast was based on being in Ketosis they would recommend that your 600 calorie evening meal had little or no carbs and as far as I'm aware that isn't the case ;)

Nope Slimfast isn't intended on getting you into Ketosis, it has too much sugar in it for one, and the calories of the plan are probably too high to. Slimfast is about a balanced calorie controlled diet.

No problem drinking the lemon/lime juice on SF. If you are having drinks that aren't no sugar/ low cal, then just make sure you count them in to your snacks.

Some fruit juices like orange for example are quite high in cals.
