Step 1 Sole Source Let's Do This!

Hello! I lurk quite a lot on here. But never seem to write anything. So I thought I could write a diary which will motivate me !
A little about me:
5ft 7, STARTING WEIGHT - 16st 3.2lbs
Day nine - weighed at 15st 10.4lbs
So a 7lb loss in nine days? Not too bad.
So, I'm on day 9 as noted above.I had a SS+ meal on Monday with colleagues. Stuck to all SS+ approved foods. And was so dizzy last night, had 2 medium boiled eggs and 75-100g of lettuce all plain. Been drinking a lot of water. Minimum 3 litres. Sometimes 4.5ltrs.
Going to stick to SS 100%. Really annoyed that I had meals but at least it wasn't a pig out(which I totally expected myself to do - big comfort eater).

Really glad I found minimins. It doesn't feel like I'm doing this alone. Cos we can feel so isolated on this diet, it's nice to be able to share things on here! I have not told anyone I'm doing this diet except my mum and brother! They are very supportive so it's keeping me going.
 
Forgot to mention my target weight! Which is just under 11 stone. That would be amazing. Haven't seen 11 stone since.... When I was in YEAR 8
(Age 12 i think? Or 13). Yup. Bad, right?!!

Anyway, Day 11. Going okay. Just that I keep thinking about food. And it makes me hungry. I'm worried that I'm not in ketosis. I sometimes get stomach growls! I want to eat but i think its head hunger rather than anything else. And I don't THINK I have death breath because I brush my teeth & have chewing gum at work. Unless its just the chewing that's making my stomach growl. Hm.
Not giving in anyway. Still drinking 3-4 litres of water a day and having 3 shakes. Been 100% since the SS+ day. Had a sneaky weigh in this morning. Weighed at 15st 8.. Not too bad.
Really want to get to 14 stone as my first goal! Haven't seen 14 EVER. I realise I never weighed myself. It's scary that I was piling on the weight and not realising what I weigh. That would have probably given be the kick up the backside I needed! But what's done is done. Doing something about it now, and that's all that matters! Need to have my first shake before I go crazy!

How about filling in the details on the left of the page which will be even better for keeping track of your weight loss... which, btw, is absolutely brill!

So.. This Wednesday will mark 2 weeks on the diet. Lately I've been feeling hungry. Most likely head hunger, So I up the intake of water. Keeping 100% which in itself, is a big achievement !
Been cooking meals for the fam, here and there. AND made PANCAKES with chocolate and made cakes !!! And didn't waver once ! Really surprised but so chuffed xD
I know this diet is a really fast one in terms of weight loss. But I want to be slim NOW. I know, I have to be patient. But it's frustrating!! Arrrrgh. Really tempted to weigh myself everyday but I'm not. Just hope I lose a good amount this week. As week one was good but not as spectacular as some of the people here!
Stomach rumbling now so going to drink my last shake and finish off the 3rd litre of the day!

Well..Just glad that you've made the decision to get fitter and slimmer RedRose.
I started off at 16st 2lb in 2010 but I am only 4'11" so obviously much more of a rolypoly than yourself. Had a two year plateau which was so very exasperating but now down to 14st today.

Keep up the good work Rose.

Wow 2 years ? Well done for sticking to it !! It's not easy and so disheartening x
That's brilliant! Go you!!! Keep up the good work too. We can do this!!

Hope you dont mind me popping in, im just at end of day 2 on cambridge so still finding it extremely difficult, not that i imagine it ever gets easier tbh

Like you im glad of coming across this site as i didnt realise how much support was out there
Have you had any particular difficult moments, it must be hard doin it without anyone knowibg. Iv told everyone i work with, also told them if they see me eating iv to be told off haha

So a little late in the day. Had work to do. Quite a lot of work, actually so haven't had time to update. So I got weighed on Wednesday and am currently 15st 5lbs! Lost 5lbs this week. Really pleased (though silly me, I always want more!!)
Been a good week. Just had cravings but it's Subsided ! 3litres of water a day and my 3 shakes. Will get a few bars next week. Didn't get them this week because I'm not ready for chewing yet!
Just focusing end result as motivation. I WILL do this. I have to!!

Hey there! It WILL get easier. A 10000% after day 3-4 you'll start to feel normal again. But you'll still get times where you get cravings. Just stick to your water and you'll be fine xx
Definitely love minimins. It keeps me sane! Yes... Yes I have my moments. Then I come on here, and read through that sticky "reasons to lose weight" I think it's called. It's brilliant. And it takes my mind off food. And I guess it's difficult when you're trying to socialise... But it's only a few months! Not the rest of my life, so I just get on with it. And you will too. Come on here whenever you feel down or hungry or wanting to cheat (cos believe me, we ALL feel like that at one point)!
Haha you're lucky to have that support!!! I don't feel comfortable With telling people. So I'm keeping quite ! Good luck. We can all do this ! How much do you have to lose? (If you displayed it, can't see it on my phone) x
 
I only told everyone so that i will be too embarrssed to cheat coz then everyone will be like "ehhh... You not on a diet" haha there hve been plenty times before i will lie n cheat to myself in work stuffing my face and come home n have a healthy dinner n think its okay lol im an awful binge eater :(
Im 12.2 when i was last weighed, im only 5'1 so its obvious im overweight. i done step 2 for a week and lost 5 but then was on jury duty so all got put back on lol started yday and get weighed in sunday so only really half a week this week.
Im hoping to get down to at least 9.10 by aug for my hol (20 weeks) going with my friend whos already a skinny babe so really dont want to be standing next to her in a bikini haha
I know what you mean about the social aspect, i can give up a few weekends and sacrafice a few nights out, keep trying to look at the bigger picture :)
I dont think for a moment al stay on SS for the whole time, have my birthday in june then T in the park in july but trying not to get carried away with myself and just take 1 day at a time if you know what i mean?
What kind of products are you having? X

That's exactly what used to do but in opposite. Used to have a really healthy lunch at work. Then I would be on the way home, stop at a shop at the station and buy sweets, chocolate. VERY naughty stuff!! And then go home, go to my room, Put on TV and stuff my face. Then have dinner. Yup. Ashamed of it but that was my routine for a good few weeks before I started this diet! Really opened my eyes !
You'll definitely get to goal by then !! And have a beach body :D I have 4 1/2 stone to lose. :(
I know what you mean. I have really slim gorgeous friends and I don't wanna be the odd one out ! I have a holiday at the end of aug so hoping to get to goal by then!!
Definitely know what you mean. I'm not gonna overwhelm myself with how long it's gonna be. But day by day. I have my birthday in July so it's gonna be difficult. But we can both deal with it when it comes lol x

Oh! Also I'm having only banana shakes at night and weekends/days off, Chicken and mushroom soup for when Im at work. And banana tetras in the morning when I have not time. I only like those two flavours!!! What about you?
 
You are doing great!! Well done! I am on day 12 and get weighed tomorrow for the first time! Excited and nervous haha! Ive been 100% SS so far. Im also 5'7" but weighed 17 9 at my first weigh in 2 saturdays ago :O hoping to change that tomorrow! Keep up the good work!

Haha aw i used to do the same have a bad lunch go home have toast n cheese n biscuits n crisps then have my dinner too. Lol
Really really struggled today n ended up caving to temptation n had just less than a half breast grilled chicken in work (i work in a pub on friday night). Was so determined not to eat anythin until the kitchen said it was goin in bin n if i wanted it. Had gubbed it without even thinking. Was so mad with myself but then i know it wont have a huge impact but still annoyed with myself x

We were terrible! Lol.
That isn't bad ! It's SS+ and as you said, will hardly affect weight loss! So don't worry about it. And if you do eat food, flush it all out out lots of water. Hope today it going well x
 
Out of all things, I'm craving McDonald's BIG TIME. When I picture it, my mouth waters. Ahhhh! Won't turn into a cheat or anything but it's so frustrating not being able to CHEE or taste different foods. Really miss it. But I shall overcome it !

Made it through!!!! But that evening was a struggle!! Been good today too. Weekends are HARD. Drank some nice black coffee which actually got me through the day! Along with 3litres of water :p Really want to get into my 14's soon so can't have any blips!
Hope your weekend went well!
