Lettuce leaf wraps.


Now I don’t tend to measure things when I cook so I am mainly guessing with this recipe.



Serves 2people
1 iceberg lettuce or Chinese leaf
8oz minced beef
(verylean)
1 pt beef stock
1 finely chopped pepper
2oz finely shitake chopped mushrooms
3 finely chopped shallots
2cloves of finely chopped garlic
1tsp finely grated ginger

¼ tsp chili powder (optional)
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cumin
1-2oz red kidney beans.

Serve with rice, pasta or cous cous





It’s syn free on extra easy.
Boil the mince in beef stock till cooked
Once cooked drain all the liquid away and set aside
Add all the other ingredients to the mince and fry for 5 mins.
When all is cooled wrap the mix in the lettuce leaves until all the mix is used.
In a casserole dish or similar place wraps together in the dish and pour over what was left of your liqueur from the stock.
Put in the oven on 180 for 10-15 mins then serve .:D
