Licking the Lid of Life....my esoteric diary

It's the Apple Watch. I wish it did tell me when not to eat!! It syncs with mfp though so I can see steps and kcal left and so on so that's a bonus. I'm doing a hybrid of SW and MFP now. Mainly to keep a lid on portions now that little one is weaning!! I need a less jazzy strap though!!

Very swish watch! I'm banned from anymore Apple products in the house, we have 2 iPhones and 3 iPads  not all mine I hasten to add!
Hope your having a good week, I'm babysitting my poorly puss cat today, he had some very sensitive items removed yesterday and is feeling a bit sorry for himself, I am currently typing this with him draped round my neck! xx

Haha we are in the apple trap too. 2 iPads, 4 iPhones and now the watch. Terrible.

I hope your cat doesn't miss his essentials too much for too long! Poor mog :(

Vlog reveal of my first Abel & Cole veg box

Not yet but I had a couple of the mushrooms at breakfast and our main meal was lunch today so we had the new potatoes and carrots. Both were lovely and you can really taste the difference, even compared to fresh from the supermarket. I know why people grow their own!!

You can't beat fresh veg straight from the garden. I've got some tomatoes and courgettes growing this year. Just to see how I get on with it.I'm going to plan over Winter what to grow in pots next year. :)

Ahh I'm the odd one out. Nothing growing here...apart from the kids haha.

I made something different from the box. Here you go.....

Oooh and I lost 5lb this week!!!

I'm so happy!

Thanks @RosiePops i won't pretend it wasn't hard but I found MFP helped distract me a bit and kept me more accountable. It's the one downside to slimming world. The concept of unlimited free food. I try to practise the sensible eat until satisfied not bursting but sometimes I slip and I couldn't even remember what a portion actually looked like!!!

I treated myself to this today as a "well done me"
I love the hairy bikers and their diet books are really good and can be adapted really easily for slimming world. :)

Thanks @Happy Holidays :) I love a good cook book. It's like food porn. When it's a low fat one so much the better as I feel less bad for dribbling. :)

Thanks @Sexyshell135 :) :)

MFP is t'lingo for my fitness pal. It's a food and exercise tracking app :)

The first box was around £10 I think with delivery but that's half price. Next weeks is £20! but the 4th is half price again :) I don't think I'll carry it on forever. Not unless I want to take out a loan!

Thanks Ruth! How are you? Xx
