Hi and welcome Carlos, you may feel hungry for the first few days until ketosis kicks in and then magically the hunger pangs disappear!

Don't dread feeling hungry. Go into LT with a positive attitude and take everything that the first few days throws at you with full positive force. Remember that the initial first few days are only that - a few days of your life. After those few days you'll feel great and completely forget all the initial yuck of the beginning.

OR - You could be really really lucky and feel fantastic from day 1, it has been reported!

Good luck and come on here for support and encouragement if feeling down. Read through the forum as I have found it invaluable and could not have done this without the support of these lovely people.

Welcome!

I won't lie to you... I did feel hungry and a bit miserable at first, but now I'm on day 6 and am feeling loads better. I just keep telling myself "which is worse? Being a bit hungry or being overweight and feeling crappy EVERY day?"

That keeps me going!

Hi Carlos,
welcome and best of luck. You should well do what you want to do in 4 weeks, so when you look at it you will have a short journey on here and that's very doable.
Best of luck with the start, take it easy on yourself and come on here for support as you need to.

Hi Carlos, welcome and good luck with your diet.

For me hunger was not really a problem - as soon as I felt a hunger pang coming on I took a swig of water (didn't need to be too much) and the hunger went away really quickly. After a very short time hunger is hardly an issue at all.
