    Hi All,

    I just started on Tues and due to forthcoming work patterns am trying to go alone! I will try to get to a meeting when work settles down but that wont be for about a month! Would really appreciate any help or suggestions from you friendly lot, I have been lurking on here for a few weeks now and can honestly say its all the friendly comments and support that has been the inspiration for me to start. I have the red/green book and a few recipe books as my mum and stepdad have been on sw for years so thought I would give it a try!

    Here are my last few days diarys (I do green days as I dont eat a lot of meat)

    Tues 26/01
    Breakfast
    28g Weetabix minis HEB
    Milk (splash used for cereal rest for coffees) HEA
    Lunch
    SW Pasta Pie 4.5 syns
    Mullerlight yogurt
    Dinner
    Jacket with tuna HEB & Cheese HEA with loads of salad (lettuce, toms,onion, red pepper & beetroot) Low fat spread 1 syn

    Satumas and 2 Apples

    Wed 27/01

    Breakfast

    Looking at this I dont seem to have very much fruit and veg compared to other peoples diarys, I'm doing SW carrot & corriander soup tomorrow for taking into work, soups might be a way to up my veg intake!! I must admit I do find this very confusing (but I'm easily confused)!
    Sorry for the long post but it is my first!

    Any comments welcome pls x

    Hi and welcome! It looks like you're doing great. You've alrealy said that you need to up your fruit and veg intake and I think that's a good idea. I also think you should try for more variety - not having the same breakfast every day, or the same evening meal (you had a jacket spud twice, and quorn strips/chips twice). You'll eventually get bored having the same things all the time and that's when you risk falling off the wagon. And maybe try and have a few more syns a day? But other than that, it sounds good.

    Thanks for the comments Circes :) its always good to know what other people think and it gives you the encouragement to carry on!

    Today hasnt been a good day i didnt feel very hungry for some obscure reason so here is todays:

    31/01

    LF Cottage cheese
    Apple
    Alpen Bar HEB

    Snack Snack a Jack Jumbo 2.5 Syns

    Quorn Pasta with homemade pasta sauce (Toms,onions,red pepper, mrooms & garlic) Cheese HEA
    Mullerlight yogurt
    Satsuma

    And because I have only used 2.5 syns I'm having a flake 8.5Syns I must try to have a propper breakfast tomorrow, I'm really not used to eating so much!

    Right, its kick up the bottom time!! I'm not very good with this diary lark, but after loosing 1st 11lb and my mojo I have now put 11lb back on!! So I'm back on it and determined not to get on that hamster wheel of loosing, putting on, so if I dont write in this diary each day
    I will pay a £1 forfeit lol
