Little bit annoyed...

Am I the only one that thinks he sounds like quite a good consultant? lol

I mean okay he questioned why she hadnt stayed, but then I have always found stricter consultants are more successful at supporting me through losing weight, as you are terrified of failing off track and then getting their grilling when you stand on the scales and have put on. lol. Also consultants are not there just to take your money and weigh you. They are there to advise and as much as it may feel like you are at school sometimes, I think all consultants should encourage their members to stay for meetings. But obviously need to make sure that they go about it in the right way.

The fact he also told her what she had missed, sounded great to me. Not many consultants would take the time to do that.

But I can see how some might get annoyed by a consultant like that.

Nope your not alone, I agree with you, like I said I think he is being dedicated to her success just as mine is to mine. Thats what we pay them for surely? Its part of their job description.

My consultant always feels thinks she isn't doing her job properly of you dont stay. She says why pay £4.95 just to get weighed, when you can pay 30p to get weighed in boots.

I often just go to WI - mainly because I don't really rate the C and will swap once my countdown is up next week.

But surely Cs must realise that we are not all exactly the same - what works for one may not for another.

Getting 'officially' weighed each week is motivation for me if I was to just go to Boots it wouldn't be the same or believe me I'd save the £20 a month!

My consultant is very passionate about the fact people lose better if they stay to class, maybe he is like that.

I would say though, it IS possible for what people to say to come over different when you aren't face to face as you can't say facial expressions or mannerisms. If you were in the same room he may have had a twinkle in his eye that you couldn't see.

I'd try and forget this, most of us can't stay at one point or another x

Sounds to me like he's just having a bit of banter, but also taking the opportunity to encourage you to stay to class...after all, that's his job - to give you support and it's what you pay for! He gets his money regardless of whether you stay to class or not, so I think he's genuinely trying to be a good consultant. I'm sure he didn't mean to offend you.

I wouldn't read too much into it :)

I notice that C's like older members to stay to show and prove that it can be done to newer members, so maybe this was his intention.
