Hi Everyone

Well I have had an awful weekend - not feeling positive at all and the enormity of the journey ahead seemed to hit me like a truck and resulted in a severley depressed and irritable mood all weekend.

It took all the strength I had and that of my hubby to stop me from raiding the fridge for an all out binge session - I think I have found my first trigger - DEPRESSION.

Whilst being on this diet my depressive moods have improved dramatically as I have been feeling so good about losing some weight, but old demons return and when they do they seem to challenge me every second of the day.

I honestly contemplated jacking it all in - but my husband persuaded me to keep going (he is a darling) and he was proud of me for doing almost 3 weeks.

I am finding it so hard to get through the foodpacks - and as a result am very very tired and then this triggers my depression (see I know the theory - can't seem to put it into practice :( :( ).

Well I am goiong to try AGAIN to meet my goals I set for last week (failed miserably)

I AM GOING TO EAT ALL FOODPACKS
I AM GOING TO DRINK AT LEAST 4 LITRES OF WATER
I AM GOING TO WALK 10,000 STEPS 3 X THIS WEEK
I AM GOING TO GET THROUGH THIS 3RD WEEK

Well I am going to try AGAIN to meet my goals I set for last week

Skinny, keep going! You're doing so well with your weight loss. If my sums are correct you've already achieved 14% of your target loss:). I'm 10 days behind you and toots and find it really helpful to read your posts and see what's coming next. Now the initial excitement has worn off I am feeling very daunted by the next 91+ days. I shall make a list of short term goals like you have done that I can tick off to get me through each week (or maybe day!).

You can do it!!:D :D
 
Morning all, have not been around since Thursday, had a dreadful power cut thursday and Friday and have been at an exhibition all weekend so no power or time to post!!!

Hey you, don't leave me know, we are doing this together, I need you!!!

It's really funny but I felt as if I had lost my way a bit too, Thursday was particularly bad as I cant have any of the foodpacks cold and with no power I struggled a bit. I had to light the fire which "sods law" took about an hour, can normally get it going in no time. I then had to use a saucepan on the fire to heat some water and make "lumpy soup" (no blender arrgghhhhhhhhhh!!!) Hubby was away for the night too. We live in the middle of no where and it was a bit scary, anyway enough about me!!!

I really feel for you hun, there is nothing worse than feeling down, it's so hard to pick yourself back up. You should be so so so proud of yourself and really recognise how strong your will power is not to have given in. Your hubby is proud of you so try (I know it's hard) to feel proud of yourself.

We are so nearly at week 4, look how far we have come, we have both managed it through the roughest times, come out the other end of week 1,2 and we are on our way!!!!

This is a few months out of the rest of our lives and look at how we will benefit from making this one sacrafice.

100 days does seem such a long way away, but do you remember at the beginning we were counting the days and they took so long to fly by, now we are counting the weeks and it seems to be going quicker, before you know it we will be 10 weeks down the line at at the end of our 100 days.

You can do this honey, I know you can, please please feel free to PM me at anytime, we can get through this together with the help of everyone one on this site, look at the marvellous bunch of people on this thread alone. Have a go at reading back you initial posts, when you first started, it will pick you up babe

I had wondered where you had got to!

I totally agree with everything you said, and being on this site really does help enourmously.

Support is key to succeeding this & I seem to have this in truck loads so I know I can get through this - I have to.

It is reassuring to know that other people have these wobbles aswell and that its all part of the process.

I feel much more positive today and am going to make a real effort to pull it together this week - and then that is another one out of the way and onto week 4.......
