Morning AJ, I am still reading your managemnt diary with great interest, you are doing so well hun.

I went out last night, some friends of mine play in a "really good" rock band, I am a bit of a rock chick at heart. LOL. Well anyway, I got ready and for the first time in I don't know how long I thought I looked great!! I felt comfortable and confident and was raring to go. When I came downstairs Hubby just stood there and said "WOW" and my daughter, bless her, said I looked like a lap dancer WTF!!! I only had a Tshirt and jeans on so where she got that from I don't know. As I left the house hubby said to me "When you get compliments, and you will, just smile and say thank you", Im not good with compliments you see. Anyway, off I went feeling great, not seen the guys for a while and they don't know I have been dieting. I had a good night, drank my water, even had a dance. Had a sudden realisation that I don't need to get wasted to have a good time, something I would always have done!! BUT, I was really dissapointed and flat when I got home, no one said a thing, not one comment!! Maybe my expectations were a bit too high and I don't actually look that different. Oh well............

really tired this morning, can't wait until the end of the day!! Hubby has a big interview this morning, so please all, fingers crossed for him, it's a fantastic job!!! Enogh of my rambling!!!!

Morning everyone

Feelling better today, but still took the day off - did not seem much point in dragging myself in & it is Friday :eek: .

The cold seems to have got better & thanks to the eardrops the earache is getting better also. I am really proud that I stayed away from the "food" this week as when I am ill I usually eat to make myself feel better.

I have been planning things for the future to keep me focused like trips & holidays and day dreaming of what clothes I wil wear when I am slim. I have also been thinking about what sort of food I will cook for the family when I am eating again to make sure it is healthy and keeps me on track.

I have clearly got far too much time on my hands lol.

i know what you mean about planning food, i have been watching my favorite chef (Rick Stein), I love the way he cooks seafood. Fresh food and veg, helathy eating is really inviting and I feel yukky when I see burger adds etc, maybe my mind is changing already. Hope so!!!

Well done for staying away from the food, that must have been hard when you are feeling low. Pat yourself on the back hun, you did good!!!!!!!
 
Gutted - put weight on!

hi all
am gutted tonight - went for pop in this afternoon. Been on LL for 11 days now - lost 11lbs in first week and have stuck to it, but got weighed today and have put on 1lb!

Anyone else have similar experience here - really hope it will change by weigh in and class on Monday!

Finally - I am starting LL this week. I have my first meeting Wednesday night and I guess start the programme on Thursday. I have found this site incredibly motivational while I have been doing the groundwork to start the programme and am sure it will help me through when I start for real. I love the idea of posting everyone's losses so that you can all compare and be inspired by each other. Hope it is ok to join the January starters thread even though I'm a February starter!!
 
Hi jackiem38! Welcome aboard - like you I found this site so helpful before I took the plunge. It's one of the best things I've done recently. Even my husband, who reserved judgement at first (though was very supportive), is becoming seriously impressed with this diet:).

Update on this week's loss - 5lbs:D :D :D. I really wasn't expecting that - thought I'd be onto the normal 3lb loss now. I enjoyed our group too - I was initially a little sceptical about TA as I found the terminology a bit irritating but have found the sessions extremely helpful. Can feel my mind changing already - stilll a long way to go though!

Morning all, another weekend has flown by. How has everyone been?

I am off work today as daughter is not very well, so many bugs around at the moment!!!!
Had a really productive weekend. Did loads of jobs in the garden that I have been meaning to do for months. But my god to i ache this morning!!!! Have also quit the fags as of this morning so please wish me luck, I know, I know, it's all in the mind!!

Well, I am on day 33 of LL today, a third of the way through which I can't quite believe and at the moment it is all going well, so fingers crossed it continues. Good luck to everyone this week and keep glugging xxxxxxx

Hi everyone,

Not managed to log on much today, went back to work and had a huge pile of files to get through.

I cannot believe how fast the weeks are whizzing by, it is incredible that I have done 4 weeks already.

I have to say, aside from a few "moments" it has not been too difficult abstaining from food & it sure makes life simpler, when you take out the stressing and eating of food.

I do find it difficult to eat all the packs (am trying) and drinking enough water - I started off so well with that am not sure what went wrong, I actually love water. All in all though this first month has been ok.

I have been thinking alot about life after foundation and how my life & relationship with food will be, I am quite nervous about eating again, but looking forward to it too.

I have noticed a huge difference in clothes, am now officially down a size (one down .......to go) and am fitting in the bath much easier now LOL, others have started to notice too and I did have one or two comments today from people who had not seen me in a while. I also FEEL better, more confident a little how I used to be and that is one of the best things about this programme.

Anyway, thamks for reading my ramblings

Good morning all, and what a gorgeous morning it is too, i feel on top of the world today, so much better than yesterday I must add.

My god did i feel rough!!!!! tried to quit the fags yesterday, so everytime I wanted a fag I had some water. You can imagine how much water i drank, about 6 litres by 3pm!! Then things started to go horribly wrong, i felt really faint, my legs were really heavy, luckily hubby came home early!
I went into the kitchen and sat down with him, couldn't even speak. I got up to get something, my legs gave way and he had to catch me, I was terrified!! He took me to bed and I stayed there in and out of sleep for about 3 hours. When I finally got up I had the longest we in history, it just kept coming and coming (TMI sorry!!) I suddenly realised that I had not been to the loo much all day in comparison to what i had drunk. Think I may have had slight water intoxification:eek: :eek: I feel great this morning but yesterday, was really scared!!

Anyway, enough about that!! I have put on some work trousers this morning that I have not worn once. Bought them a long time ago to slim into but never did. They are too BIG!!!!!!!!! Gutted but so pleased all rolled into one!! I love this diet and I am now officially more than a third of the way through!!!

Skinny, glad to see you are up and about again, do you feel better? I know what you mean about the thought of going back to food, it really is quite scary. i want to stay on this diet forever because it is so easy and no choices to be made!!!!

I spoke to the business advisor at my bank on Friday about a small business loan for being an LLC, he sounded really positive but had to refer it to his senior manager. he called me last night while I was having my "moment" so couldn't speak to him, he is calling back tonight so fingers crossed. Once I have the go ahead from him (if I get it), then I will have to go through the recruitment process with LL, that scares the life out of me. Hubby is so totally behind me on this which is great. i keep imagining running the groups and what kind of an LLC I would make. How exciting!!!!!:eek: :eek:

Feeling better in myself but totally lost my voice - not even a squeak which makes life interesting when dealing with clients, some would say it is a huge relief, but it aint half frustrating.:mad: :mad:

Fingers crossed about the business loan and your journey becoming a LLC - I am sooooo excited for you, you must keep us all posted on how it is going. I think you will be great at it as through the forum you come across really well, supportive & encouraging.

Remember the assessment day I went on a few weeks back, well they have finally been in touch to arrange a second meeting, which they describe as "informal chat about positions and packages" which sounds positive. I really hope there is a suitable job for me, as I really like the company and the options they discussed with me and am so fed up of my current job.

I am going through a really busy time at the moment, I have losts of assignments and exams due for my degree over the next month or so and work is crazy busy and my 2yr old has turned into a monster child overnight (terrible twos) so I have not got time to eat even if I wanted to.:D :D

I don't know about you but I am getting a teensy weensy bit impatient and want the weight to be off NOW!!! so I can get on with the rest of my life. I think in order to get to the weight I really want to be I may have to do a few extra weeks on foundation - then any weight gain during management would not be too catastrophic (listen to me planninig to be UNDERWEIGHT LOL) equally if I carried on losing in management as AJ seems to be - then again it is a bonus.

I am obsessing about management (have you noticed) which is what I do obsess obsess obsess.... !!!!

Anyway, how scary was the water thing:eek: :eek: you will need to be careful, don't overdo things trying to give up smoking as well - I admire you totally if you can do it, but don't feel too hard on yourself if you can't do it yet, you are already successfully abstaining from food and dealing with that so giving up the ciggies too may just be too much - take each day at a time.

I was hypnotised when I stopped smoking & it worked a treat for me - I do not think I could've done it under my own steam though, that said, I did not think I could give up food for a day never mind a whole month, so I guess you never know what you can achieve if you want it badly enough.

Anyway enough of my rambling on

It would have been interesting to measure how much you wee'd Tootsie. I did a few weeks ago (NO, I'm NOT weird) after going to the loo in a public toilet and realising that while I was weeing, someone in the next cubicle had gone in, done their business, and left - while I was still half-way through! 1 and a quarter pints was what I initially measured - can you beat that?!?!?

Good luck too, Skinny, I hope you get the job of your dreams! Pity about the 'terrible two year old'. I'd like to say it gets better, but .....

Morning Everyone

Well another weigh in tonight - really excited again so hopefully lost at least 3lbs - it is great to see the scales goiong down.

Still got no voice & it is really getting me down, think I may have a chest infection from the cold I had last week. I was about to buy some lockets this morning & realised that I can't have them!!!! That was a close shave!!! I am going to speak to LLC to see what I can take if anything.

How did you get on with the bank Toots - good news ???:D :D
