Hi everyone
Long time no posts - well just come back form my weekend break & trip to ireland to see my parents.... anyway first things first....
As I mentioned in a previous post, I was off to Edinburgh for easter weekend with hubby and had planned to have a nice meal as a celebration for making it to 100 days. I was incredibly nervous and scared at the prospect of eating but a little excited as well.
I made healthy choices and enjoyed a 2 course meal WITH wine (only a few glasses) and I really really enjoyed it, I stopped when I was full and drank lots & lots of water with my meal. I passed on dessert as I was really full.
I opted for a smoked mackrel starter with lots of greenery! and for main course I had a chicken stirfry.
Whilst at tthe hotel for breakfast I opted for fruit & yoghurt one morning & scrambled eggs the next morning - no toast or bread - I completley stayed away from the bread!
On the final evening we had again another lovelely meal and I opted for chicken terriyaki (sp) to start and a warm salmon salad for main course. I really really enjoyed it.
I did put on 3lbs over the whole weekend but have now lost that and a bit more besides. I then went to Ireland to visit may parents and stuck to the plan 100% whilst I was there - very proud of myself as my mums homecooking is the best!!!
I am now back in the saddle and into development for another stone off.
I know the "proper" thing to do is to continue straight into development & had this weekend not been planned I probably would've done it and if I am being honest I had not thought much beyond 100 days, I do not regret it, I do think it has put my goal back a week but I can live with that.
I am now 10.5 stone - wowee and have lost almost 4 stone and am now FINALLY in a size 12 and almost within my healthy range.
I do not have another weigh in until next wed night (missing tonights so hope I will make the healthy range by then.
My goal is in sight!
